My screen broke on my sidekick 3 so i am trying to copy contacts from phone to sim card without being able to see the screen need menu navigation or step by step instructions. please help

Hi, here is the step by step navigation of your 3110


Menu > Messaging
CONTACT > Names
Synchronise all
Settings
Groups
Speed dials
Delete all contact
Move contact
COPY CONTACT > From phone to SIM card
From SIM card to phone

Not a problem friend. Just be patience. 1. Just press you end button(i.e your red button) 2. to check weather key pad unlock or not for that just dial any number and press call button, if success then press red button. 3. press menu button, and take the help of your manual book which comes with your phone. 4. see where exact the contact option is and go to that using your navigation key and press ok button (it all will be in imagination as your screen not showing any things)
5. using your navigation key come down to option copy contact, and do the same as manual book show hope it will work for you. As it a hectic job but sure it will help you out.

To copy all contacts to the SIM card (so you can put it in a different phone):
Red key (to make sure you're on the home screen)
Left key (menu)
3 (Address book)
5 (Copy All Contacts)
2 (Handset to SmartChip)
1 to Keep original, 2 to Delete original (I'd keep it, just in case this doesn't work)
(Beep)
1 (Yes to confirmation)
Wait for another beep

no need to navigation keys or else.. just install pc suite for k750 if you have or if you dont have just download it from the official site of sony ericcson..

install it and then copy the sim nos to you pc. its a risk free option and then transfer to other phone with that or make a file for that no and save it to the new mobile or this after new screen.

Press options when you open up your contacts and choose "save to SIM' or "copy to SIM' and it should work that way

How Do I Copy Contacts From My SGH-d807 Phone To The SIM Card?

To copy an address book contact to the SIM card follow the steps below:

While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu
Select Address Book (8)
Select Contact List (1)
Select the desired contact entry, stored in your phone's memory, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Options
Select View (1)
Select one of the contact phone numbers, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Options
Select Copy (3)
Select SIM (2)
Press the left soft key to Save the single contact phone number to the SIM card

Note: Each phone number for a contact must be individually saved to the SIM card

1) Remove your sim card
2) From the jump screen: Menu -> Settings -> System Info
3) Press Menu+Shift+X Select OK to clear the flash.
4) Press Menu+Shift+R Select OK to clear the login information.
5) Perform a hard reset now. This will reboot the device.
To perform a hard reset:

SK2 - Press the power button and reset button at the same time. Unit will vibrate when reset. You can use a paper clip or similiar to hit the reset button located behind the screen.

SK3 - remove the battery while the device is on.

6) Call your carrier and ask them to detach your device IMEI from the username locked in. Once that is done, hard reset without your SIM card inserted.

after pressing menu wen inside of phonebook, press down 8 times then select, down once, then select and select again and giv it some time to finish the job
