Hi
The user manual will provide you easy to follow instruction , if the user manual is no longer available
NO need to reset the router to retrieve the Security key ,Because if you
reset the router you will lose all the settings and you might have to
reconfigure it .Instead of resetting the router just connect your router
to the computer through an ethernet cable and open the internet
explorer and in the address bar type 192.168.2.1.and leave the password
blank and click on submit button
Then under wireless option click on security ,again it will ask you for
the password ,just leave the password blank and click on submit and
then you can retrieve your security keys .If its 64 BIT WEP security
then make a note of 10 numbers which you typed in under key 1.
Hope that helps

On the back of your router there is a reset button, hold it down for 3o seconds or so, this will reset the router back to factory settings, the default user name and password would be admin, note that sometimes with the belkin you only need the user name and not the password. Usually you need admin/admin though.
The default IP address to access the router when its reset is 192.168.2.1
Hope that helps
