My Husband and 13yr old son bought me the Olympia Info Globe Model NO.ol3000 for my Birthday Back on March 20th but we were still living at a friends house while our house was being built so i never even took it out of the box till today July 5th and it does not display anything. I do hear it spinning but wont display. I have no idea where the reciept is now. Can you Please tell me what i need to do. Thank you Shannon Hensley

All programing functions are controlled on the main (stationary) board. All display functions are controlled on the Rotor (spinning board.) Here are some steps to take if you are having display problems. Remove the three mounting screws that hold the rotor to the motor shaft. The LED display board is attached perpendicular to the rotor board and is soldered to the rotor board. Over time, the connections break due to the centrifugal force of the spinning rotor. CAREFULLY, with a low amp solder iron and a fine tip, re-heat the board to the display. That should solve the problem. If you were a bit sloppy with the solder, remove the solder with a fine wick and try again!
