Did the truck have the premium sound system? If so, you will need to connect the blue remote wire to the blue remote wire on the harness. You may also need a special harness to bypass the factory amplifier.

Look for a yellow wire coming out of the wiring harness from the radio. This wire should always be hot (+12 volt). It will make your memory function work. Hope this helps.
