I don't know the battery type for your watch but I would suggest you get the battery change done professionally. They can replace the seal and guarantee its continued water resistance on your particular model. Sadly I learnt the hard way and after the DIY battery change on my (now deceased) Armani watch it filled with water on my next visit to the swimming pool!
Bad pic but as I recall, lower is 24 hr clock, left is day of week and top is month of the year. The buttons above and below the time setting stem move them. Need more? Gimme more info.
First set your local time, date and year and then run the "home positioning" (H-SET) procedure following manual instructions. If no any other problem exists, normally hands will "follow" digital time when watch is set back to time mode.
Purchased my Armitron men's digtal watch in 2009.
Here's the twist on setting the name of the Day of the Week on my watch. When you get to the name of the Day of the Week flashing.. you don't get Su...Mo...Tu... You get 01..02..03... up through 99. (You think.. what the hell is this??) DON'T TRY TO SET Sun.. Mon.. etc here.. you won't find it. The puzzle solver..and it is.. IS TO SET THE LAST TWO DIGITS OF THE YEAR HERE.. Example... it is now 2010.. so scroll thru the numbers and set it to "10"!! Now.. when you go and set the numerical day date e.g. 3 for March, and set the numerical day - e.g. 15, the on-board computer?? in the watch will AUTOMATICALLY SET THE NAME OF THE WEEK!! It will look-up For Example.. in the year 2010.. 3-14 is SUN.. and will set it as that!! Hope this saves you some frustration.
Regards... [email protected] (Mar 14, 2010)
Go to the home site of the particular brand of watch you own. They should have the instructions for just about every watch configuration they manufacture.
do you have the button on your watch named "el" its the top left one, press and hold it for 3 secs. after you can change the time. you can press the mode button to change it :)
