Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

I have purchased a 42LD520 model in January 2011. It worked fine until about two months ago. The picture will pixalate for no apparent reason. I understand that wind will cause the picture to pixalate from time to time. But this will pixalate without cause. One second it fine, the next it will pixalate, then freeze, then go black, then indicate to receives no signal, then sound will come back on, and eventually the picture. I change channels no problems, for a while.I understande it might be someone walking by that interferes with the signal, but I am home alone when this happens. I don't have cable, but use a good (so I've been told) VHS anntenna. We also have a wooded lot between us and any TV signal (also when this has happened the wind wasn't blowing). What is wrong? Thank you for your assistance. Michael Patzer

You need to readjust your antenna and then reprogram your set.

Television picture pixalating

I get this problem occasionally too. Poor reception can cause this. Some TVs seem to be more prone than others. I find that there are periods when some channels are worse than normal for no apparent reason. Running multiple TVs from one aerial may weaken the signal also.

There is an antenna extender kit available for your opener. The part number is 41A3504 and should be available from any good door opener company that handles Liftmaster or Chamberlain. It should come with instructions.

Where can i download the software for free or cheap for my singer ce100

Wish there was a place. I searched for this myself when I couldn't find mine for a while. My own search turned up that the only place I could get it was to purchase a replacement CD directly from Singer. At the time, it was about $100, and that was 3 months ago (January 2011).

TV works fine for a while, then the picture disappears.

I would just replace the TV, the parts are not going to be made to repair this. The set is just to old.

Tv set just lost its ability to display digital channels

Your problem is definitely the input signal source to your tv. It is extremely rare where a new tv has a tuner signal sensitivity problem. The best thing to do is to replace your current set of rabbit ears with a different set of powered rabbit ears that have a higher gain rating with a variable gain control. Please note that the gain control setting is critical when setting up your tuner for auto-programming. If the gain control is set too low or too high it will result in your symptom.

If you still can't get it to work you could try buying a line amplifier which you would install to the rabbit ears before the tv. If you still can't get it to work you'll have no choice but to purchase an outside antennae as a result of your being in a weak signal area as signal quality changes by such things as the switch over to digital upcoming and environmental changes.
