Just had my unit serviced with new pad and belt. Now it makes a loud banging noise but still is working. Noise is not consistent, but occasional and stops when cooler is shut off awhile. Any idea?

Sounds like either the unit was secured to the wall again, or that the belt wasn't put on tight enough causing the fan to move around and make noise.

1998 land rover discovery transmission makes loud banging noise when shifting from pari to drive?

Tons of possibilities here (transmission, differential, motor mounts, transmission mounts....), so I'll ask some debug questions to help narrow it down. Does it make the noise when shifting into reverse? Also, does it make the noise only when shifting from park, or also when shifting from neutral (into drive or into reverse)? Did the noise start as an occasional, softer noise and get worse over time, or did it start suddenly? Does the vehicle lurch at the same time as the noise? What happens when you go from Reverse to Drive, or vice versa? Has any work been done recently (brakes, tires, alignment, suspension, transmission)?

Drum makes loud banging noise.

Maybe the heat in your dryer over time has melted weak glue and loose components are hitting against the drum

Hi,i have a hotpoint aquarius wf340.which makes a very loud banging noise every time it spins,it works fine otherwise!

I had the same issue with a similar machine. Need to replace the spindle assembly (or otherwise make sure) that the belt is tight. Try replacing belt first.
Make sure machine is level. test it by putting some stuffed sockes in the machine, let them get thrown around. Listen for the banging noise, apart from the soft socks hitting the tumbler.

Whirlpool top freezer refrigerator- compressor makes a loud noise

The compressor is that black casing you see at the bottom of your refrigerator - inside this sealed case is the motor assembly which stits on 3 or 4 springs that act like a cushion - you have a little gap at the bottom where the lubricating oil is present. Your springs have likely worn out and when the compressor shuts off the assembly is banging against the rigid casing make that loud "klonk" or bang noise. It IS normal for compressor to make some faint "tick-tick-tick...tick.....tick" when shutting off, but loud banging, bell sounds, etc, means the assembly is banging on the case from the inside - you can indeed live with the noise, your compressor will function normally, probably for months, or even years - it can also keep wearing out and one day the noise might get very loud (like a very high humming noise) - There is NOTHING that can be fixed, you either pay $400+ to change the compressor or buy a new refrigerator - If you DO replace a compressor usually the replacement will be noisier - Keep a thermostat inside your refrigerator at all time to make sure your compressor is still keeping your refrigerator and freezer cool.

VERY LOUD NOISE WHEN PRINTING WITH MY SAMSUNG CLP-300

You all say that the toner cartridge is okay, so it could be the hole OPC Image Drum or the ITB which is the tranfer Belt.
The Tranfer Belt is behind the Image Unit.

Loud clicking, banging noise

We recently had the same problem. After cleaning both the furnace filter and the humidifier water panel, the clicking noise (electric air filter) and the loud bang went away.

Loud noise

Replace the water valve... It"s vibrating when closing. Do you have hot water feeding the unit?

Xerox Phaser 7700DN color printer

I would be willing to be it's one of two things.

Most common is a jammed gear on the imaging units. Remove all imaging units CMKY. The turn on machine. If the noise is gone, start replacing imaging unit one at a time tile noise reappears. Replace defective imaging unit.

If that doesn't work remove the accumulator belt from the right side of the machine and then turn machine on, see if noise is gone. If so replace accumulator belt.
