If you have a AC unit with electric or gas its doing what its supposed to do, let the pressures in the system equilize before starting again, If you have a heat pump its doing it there as well you just have not noticed. Anti cycling is a good thing, 4 to 5 minutes is normal.
I installed a GTH 1348821 on a customers house 2008 It was installed incomplience with local codes and Goodman rrecommendations.I recieved a call stating the unit would not start I responded and found line voltage normal at 238 volts I checked my wire connections from contactor to capacitor to compressor all good shape. I ran a MFD check on capacitor and found a bad capacitor .I replace it and started and ran fine starting amps/RLA all within specifications. One month latter I had another capacitor failure, all operation specs look good. Any suggestions?
