Question about Creative Labs ZEN V Plus MP3 Player
My mp3 player is constantly freezing and when i plug it back into the computer via usb cable the computer doesnt recognize it.
the mp3 player will not start working agian untill the battery is completely dead and i plug it back into the computer. this has happened several times and none of the times was it dropped rough handled ect. the song stops playing and the screen stays frozen untill the battery has gone to the "Low Battery" screen. my zen v plus is frozen and the battery has gone low and it is still frozen i reset it and it turns off and I turn it back on again and it is still frozen and i try to turn it off and nothing happens. I've tried everything.... and my computer doesn't detect my zen... what can i do?
If a reset does not work using the reset hole, then try this: First, back up all of your music and do this: Turn off the player and disconnect it from the computer. Then press and hold the play/puse button and turn it on simultaneously. The player should be in recovery mode. Scroll down and select format (all) and let it format. Then reload all of music back onto your player and it should work like new. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: creative zen v problems-frozen
I Recently bought a Zen, and it works great. The only problem I found was that it freezes itself from time to time, and the best solution to this problem is on the bottom of your Zen, there is a very small Reset hole. With a needle or a toothpick, gently stick it in, and push lightly. This will allow the Zen to unfreeze, and return back into it's regular mode. All your files will be saved, and kept on to the Zen, so you don't need to worry about losing any of your files.
Any additional help, I'll be glad to answer!

SOURCE: Hi my creative zen v
yeah, this happened to me too. let the battery run out and then recharge it. while it's in the charger, turn it on and keep it on until it's done chargin (i know this seems like it doesnt make sense, but it has always worked for me) but if it happens too much, your player is about to crash. it happend 3 times in one day to me last week, and now it's dead. so be careful!

Hi there and welcome at Fixya, the support team (lfete)
I use also Creative Zen, but I do not use any software at all. Windows install automaic a driver so you can see it in the folder " My Computer ". From there you can access your drive (like all the other drives you have on the computer) and copy your musik files etc. to it !!!
Hope it helps
IF NOT then try to return here
Have a nice time over there
