Just bought sunbeam 4835 without manual. it seems that the bread dough kneader is not working but the baking portion is. i don't know if it is just me not knowing how to use it yet or if it is damaged. i have gone to several sites offering the manual, but the brands that come back are oster and panasonic. the control panels on these are not the ones that match my machine.

SOURCE: my bread falls when baking

Hi visibility...
Couple of things to try...
1... Do not open the oven when baking your bread, only open when done.
2...You can try adding a bit more baking powder to the bread mix.

SOURCE: I inherited this vacuum from my mother but I

Most vacuum uses one belt at a time. The belt connects the agitator (beater bar) to the roller which is driven by the motor of the vacuum in the base of the upright vacuum.

To check if the belt is present/intact on the vacuum, look at the sides of the base for two latches. Push the latches away from each other then lift up to remove the cover so that you can check or replace the belt. To replace the belt, lift the agitator out of the base (first lift the right side). Cut off the old belt with scissors if it is still intact before pulling on the agitator. You may need to pull the bumper forward to get the beater bar out of the base. To put on the new belt, slide it onto the roller of the motor then onto the pulley of the agitator. Replace the beater bar in the housing. Start with the left end cap and make sure to keep the arrow pointing down on both sides of the part. Make sure that the agitator turns and center the belt before reattaching the cover.

While you have cover off, check for anything wrapped around the agitator. Remove anything that prevents the beater bar from turning freely. Make sure the area around the agitator is clear of any clogs.

However, if the belt is missing, the volume of dirt picked up will be less but not zero. It is more likely that the unit is clogged. There are several filters that need regular cleaning or replacement. The motor filter is at the bottom of the vacuum bag cavity. It should be cleaned with warm soapy water then rinsed completely. Squeeze out the excess water and then let it air dry. Wait until it is dry before reassembling the vacuum.

An exhaust filter also needs regular cleaning. This is behind the dust cover near the bottom of the area covered by the cover. To remove the dust cover, pull forward and then lay it down. To clean, put the filter under cold running water. Then air dry completely before reassembling the vacuum cleaner.

Finally check if the hose is clogged. First remove the hose by grasping it near the base and twisting it as you pull it away from the vacuum. Pull the hose completely straight then plug in and turn on your vacuum. Stretch out the hose and then let it relax into its storage configuration. Turn off the vacuum and then unplug it. Check for and remove any clumps of dirt stuck in the hose before replacing the hose.

If you have cleaned the vacuum and it is still not picking up dirt, try a different pile height setting on the vacuum. Also check if the agitator should be replaced.

Manage My Life has the manual for the vacuum here: http://www.managemylife.com/mmh/owner_manuals/15123/KENMORE-Vacuum-Upright-L0807740?brand_name_search=33078 . This manual gives the pictures of the various parts that need to be cleaned or replaced regularly. Sears Parts Direct has some parts for the unit; see http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Kenmore-Parts/Vacuum-Parts/Model-72136078600/0582/0645000?sid=PDVertical .

I hope this helps.

I recently purchased a 2lb bread maker. But cannot find the manual or recipe book so I can use it. I brought it from QVC. Can you tell me where I can get this information. I would love to start using...

If you want to use the bread machine immediatly, boxed bread mixes from grocery stores will have generic instructions on the back of the box that can be used universally by most bread making machines. However, if you are wanting the manual and recipies to the particular machine, sometimes the place you purchased it from will allow you to photocopy one from a new one on the shelf. You would need your receipt to prove the purchase. Google Search is also an excellent way to download copies. The contact information on the box will too. In the meanwhile, if you want to make perfect bread follow this recipe BUT>>>do not use the machine for this recipe, use a large bowl to raise the dough.
4 large bread loaf pans, lightly greased with 1 teaspoon vegetable oil each. Set aside

4-6 cups+ flour
1/3 cup evaporated milk
3 2/3 cups water
1/4 cup active dry yeast
1/4 cup salad oil
1/8 cup table salt
1/6 cup sugar

Put the water and evaporated milk in a glass bowl and microwave to 120*~about 2 minutes. It should feel very warm to the touch but not as hot as a cup of hot coffee.
while microwaving, take a second very large bowl (big enough to hold a family size bag of chips)
put the salad oil, sugar, salt and yeast in and stir till mixed.
Add the very warm but NOT extremely hot milk water to the dry mixture. Use a swizzer to mix. Start adding the flour till very thick. Take swizzer out and add more flour gradually until it can't absorb more and is no longer sticking to the sides of the bowl. Shake more flour on a clean counter top and work the dough 3 minutes until smooth and not sticking to the counter. Place dough in another very large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap, place in a warm area such as the vent area of a 225* oven to rise. Punch down after double in size (about 30 minutes). Divide into 4 equal portions. Shape and place in pans. Rise 15 more minutes. Heat oven to 375* bake till golden brown on top and a finger tapping sounds hollow.
Wrap in plastic wrap when cooled slightly to keep moist. Refrigerate loaves to keep longer.

This recipe can be used for cinnamon rolls, clover leaf buns, pizza bread sticks or all 4 if you divide it up! Enjoy....I'm also a competition baker!

I am trying to repair a Sunbeam Model T-35 radiant control toaster. Everything is working but I can't seem to get the timer control (for setting light and dark) set correctly. Is there some...

I have/had a similar problem. Here's how I fixed it.
UNPLUG THE TOASTER
1. Clean the crumbs out throughly. I removed the bottom of the toaster (6 screws) to make sure all the debris was removed. Use a soft brush. Replace bottom and tighten screws. 2. Gently brush the sensor area in the 'one slice' slot with a soft brush. 3. Remove 'darker-lighter' knob. I gently pried mine off with a small screwdriver. 4. Plug toaster in. 5. Put a slice of your usual bread in the 'one slice' slot. 6. Watch it toast. 7. When 'done' to your liking slowly rotate the control counter clockwise using a small screwdriver until the toaster stops toasting. 8. Replace knob with the pointer at the mid point (up and down) to allow for minor adjustments.

How do I find the model number on my sunbeam mixer? I need new mixing blades

Some Sunbeam Mixers don't have a model number stamped on them. However, the service number located on the mixer functions basically as a model number when it comes to replacing parts. Hope this helps.

Have a Panasonic Bread Bakery SD-YD205, the book does not have anything about removing the beater blade before the baking process starts. Can it be done without interfearing with the baking process? Thank...

I have a bit of experience with this one.My wife says she never removes the blades before baking .When your machine punches down your dough for the last time before it bakes...and if u can catch it in time u can remove them, but its not necessary.
