Re: Additional viewing features
You can select several options via the EDIT tab in the MODE MENU, when the camera is set in PLAYBACK MODE. These include adding a frame to the image, Black and White, and Sepia tone, and there is also an option to “resize” the image to 640 x 480 pixels or 320 x 240 pixels in order to have a larger file for printing and a smaller size for emailing. When using any of these features the camera will display the image in B&W, or Sepia and if you press OK a copy of the image is produced in B&W or Sepia, which ensures that your original full color image is also kept .In the case of adding a decorative frame, after selecting your choice of a frame, when pressing the OK button the camera’s LCD screen will display the options of creating a new file with the frame on it or canceling the frame option. When you select “NEW FILE” you are creating a copy of the image with the frame around it, and the camera is also keeping your original image file.

Nearly every camera will automatically add the date and time of the exposure as part of the file details - when you view the memory card in Windows Explorer - and have selected the "Details" view (as opposed to Large Icons, Medium Icons, Small Icons, List, etc.). An example is shown below (click the light blue rectangle for additional information):
Some cameras might allow you to place the date / time on the front of the picture as the way some film cameras did, but it may prove to be a problem to automatically import the file details (like those in the rectangle above) and place as a watermark on the front of the picture without additional software or license fees. Look into "watermarking" on Google for additional help with placing text or graphics on the front of a photo.
