Question about Xerox Phaser 8560MFP Laser Printer

Hi. Our 8560MFP has come up with the error code 07,010.43:93096, plus the message "power down error - head not parked" - is this something we could look at ourselves or do we need professional help? Thanks

7,010.43 Printhead is stuck or is not tilting properly over the cam.

Initial Actions
• Check that the Process Drive gear train is properly homed.
• Check for obstructions or ink spills around the Printhead.
• Verify the Printhead travels smoothly from left to right.

Hey guys this is a video tutorial that shows you step by step how to fix the error codes, on the machines that are on the title. Some of these errors are:
  • 7,007.49: The process motor stalled while tilting the head
  • 7,008.41-43: The head tilt is not engaged, or the printhead is stuck in the tilt position by the tilt arms.
  • 7,009.42: The printhead is tilted back but not properly restrained in the park arms.
  • 7,010.43: The printhead is stuck in the tilted position, or is not tilting properly over the CAM, due to problems with the process motor gearbox.

07 errors are usually a bad Process Drive Motor 005K12670, which is in the front right. Its big bundle of white gears get chewed up, usually due to cracked camshafts 020K14800 or 008K02160.

Afterward, there are important alignments, like latching the printhead in the disengaged position and timing the Process Drive.

Sometimes the screws strip out the chassis, and then you need to repair the mounts using a kit 655N00426.

I am getting a "wrong print head" error message.


Turn the printer off.
Disconnect the power-cord from the wall-outlet.
Reconnect the power.
Turn the printer on.
If you still get the same message, it's time to responsibly recycle the printer,
and buy a replacement -- maybe you can buy a new PIXMA that takes the same ink-cartridges???

I have a Xerox 8560MFP printer with the following error code. 07010.43:39050 Any help would be appreciated


Your print head is stuck. Either the print head block has gotten ink in it and will not allow it to tilt, or the print head wiper is tacked, ( stuck) to the print head not allowing it to move properly.

Our xerox printer phaser 8560MFP does not work and shows a error message :-08,045.43:1177


This error code specifically means: "The media path motor stalled while moving the cap/wipe down."

In English, there is a component inside your machine that is either moving too slow or is obstructed by something.

This can either be very serious or can be surprisingly simple.

If I were you, this is what I would do:

1) Make sure the waste tray is empty.
2) Make sure there are no paper jams or paper scraps anywhere.
3) Check the preheater and make sure there are no obstructions.
4) Replace the mainten
ance kit. See link below.
*This ensures that the printhead is properly lubed and is not dragging behind or stalling
5) If it still does not work, bring it to your nearest Xerox Partner.

If the top suggestions did not work, the problem must be very serious. Your average person cannot fix the problem themselves with any motors or gear packs.

Message in the display "err 2" and my kettler treadmill doesn't work


Hi Rendra,

Try this:
Switch the treadmill off and then on again.
Push the "minus" speed button and the "stop" button simultanuously.

If all is well you will now have entered the maintenance mode.

Next push the "plus" speed button and the "stop"button smultanuously.
Now you you've reached the error mode.

Push the "plus" or "minus" speed button to browse the error codes untill you've reached "L er".
The push start to erase the message.

Turn the power off and then on again to restart the treadmill.

With any luck the error has disappeared and the treadmill will function again. If not.....you'll have to contact Kettler.

Btw...This error occurs when the belt is "pushed" by the runner. For example when you put weight on the handlebar and the push your feet backwards.

there is a stainless steel print head block on the lower back portion of the frame that gets contaminated with spill over ink from the catch tray. That causes the print head not to move properly.
The wiper blade may also be tacked to the print head.
That code means the print head is not moving into the print position properly.
That stainless steel block is about 1 inch square.

First thing you should know is a 8560 comes with a one year on site warranty. So in the first year all you have to do is call and they will come fix it for you. Either the people you bought it from if they are a dealer, or Xerox direct will come on site for the first year. So if it's that new don't void the warranty by taking it apart.
Have your serial number and call either 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100 and have them repair it.
Not that code, is related to the print head not being able to move freely.
The most likely 2 issues are that it is not sitting level and some ink leaked into the print block, or somehow the power was lost or removed improperly and the print head wiper blade is tacked to the print head.
That code simply means the print head is not moving either from front to back or side to side properly. Normally a very easy, and quick repair.
Honestly I would call and have them do it.

That error message means that the print head is not moving properly from the home park position to the print position.
Here are the mose likely possibilities.
1 Ink has spilled out and into the stainless steel block that the print head pivot shaft goes through. With the covers off looking from the front it is on lower left about mid machine, about 1 inch square. Would most likely have yellow ink in it.
2. You had a power failure or unpluged the machine without powering it down properly and the Print head wiper is tacked to the print head not allowing it to move.
3. One of the cables that are connected to the print head are keeping it from moving properly.
4 The Media motor gears are out of timing. That is not very likely though.
Also, to prevent this, you need to be sure the machine is level front to back and side to side.
I have seen one print head defective leaking ink into the bottom of the machine making a huge mess.
But that code is definatly related to the print head not being able to pivot freely.
