The available menu items vary depending on the camera mode.
The shooting menu is available only in the shooting mode, and the viewing menu is available only in the playback mode. So set your camera to shooting mode and press menu. In menu you will find image size for still image. Set up as you prefer. If you don't have a manual. Find it in the link below.
Check your shooting mode. Some features are available for a given mode only. If you set your camera to a pre-programmed mode, many features will be greyed - not available.
Continuous shooting mode is not available when in Auto, Movie, or Stitch Assist mode. You must select P, Av, Tv, M or one of the preset shooting modes to be able to select continuous shooting. If you didn't get a manual with your camera, you can view / download one here.
The software that comes with the A630 is generic to the whole series of cameras with different capabilities. Some have this feature, and some, like the A500 - A600 series, do not. Do not feel bad though. Many of the cameras that do have this capacity cannot do the photo-stitch picture merging that your camera does.
The following exposure options are available: P (Program auto), A (Aperture priority), S (Shutter priority), and M (Manual). There are four scene programs modes available in which the camera will choose the optimal settings for the picture:
Landscape: Suitable for taking photos of landscapes and other outdoor scenes. Both the foreground and the background are in focus. Since blues and greens are reproduced vividly in this mode, the landscape mode is excellent for shooting natural scenery.
Portrait: Suitable for shooting a portrait-style image of a person. This mode features an in-focus subject against a blurred background.
Sports: Suitable for capturing fast-moving action such as sports scene or moving vehicles without blurring.
Night scene: Suitable for taking night scene photos with a slower shutter speed.
