Unit wont turn on??? was charging unit overnight,now wont turn on tried holding all buttons for 15,30 seconds

unplug the unit from the cahrger, to remove the battery then put it back in, and then try to turn it on. this is just a work around.

Wont turn on even holding power button for 20 seconds
You could have a bad battery, a bad charger, or more probably, a bad charging connector. Try leaving the unit on 'charge' overnight, then remove the charger and try to start the unit. Check the charger with a voltmeter and see if it is putting out the required voltage. You could try taking the unit, if it is not under warranty, to a battery place like Batteries Plus and they may be able to open it and check the battery. If it is under warranty, contact Amazon Customer Service.

Does it do anything at all when you press and hold the power button? Hold the power button in for about 15 seconds. That should force it to reboot.

If you get nothing from doing that, then that usually means one of two things: either the tablet is not charged and the battery is completely depleted, or that the tablet is broken and will not boot. Try charging it with a different cable, try a different charger, or try plugging it into a PC USB port with the PC turned on. Leave it plugged in overnight. It should trickle charge that way and give you enough power to boot up.

Sounds like your ipod has frozen. Try this:
1. Press and hold theSleep/Wake button on the top of the unit until a red slider appears
2. Drag the slider.
3. Press and hold theSleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If a soft reset doesn't work, try a hard reset:
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for about ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

if the green light is on, on your car charger, the charger is working..if its on (the green light) and still wont start after holding the power button for up to ten seconds, let me know and i will help you further.

Ipod won't turn on after charging
Try pluggin the unit into a wall socket. If the unit does not automatically turn on when plugged into a wall socket, try hard reseting the unit. This can be done by holding down the menu button and the center button at the same time for several seconds. If this still does not fix your problem, you may have a bad battery, or main board. I charged for 2 hours and when I hold for 11
Make sure the wall socket you plugged in is working. You may need to turn on a light switch, etc. The light should come on when you plug it in and go off when it's done charging. Try charging longer. Leave it plugged in overnight and try again.

Reset, make sure lock is not engaged, then
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
