I am very disappointed with the Rose that I purchased as a demo machine. It has never made even spaced / length stitches. I took it back to the dealer who had it looked at and said that it should work okay, but it doesn't. I have invested over $2400. in this machine along with the 3D Embroidery program. I can't begin to dream of using the embroidery program when it doesn't even make a consistant straight stitch. How in the world will I ever be able to use this thing? I am beyond frustrated and nearing hopelessness with Husqvarna products. I need a machine that works properly, how can I get the help I need?

If your Janome 805 sewing machine is having trouble sewing through batting, there are a few things you can try:
Use the right needle: Make sure you are using a needle that is appropriate for the thickness of the batting you are using. A needle that is too small or too dull may struggle to penetrate the batting layers.
Adjust the tension: Experiment with adjusting the tension on your sewing machine. If the tension is too tight, it can cause the fabric and batting to pucker, while if it's too loose, the stitching may come out uneven. Refer to your sewing machine manual for instructions on how to adjust the tension.
Use the right stitch length: Adjust the stitch length to a longer setting, which can help the needle to penetrate the batting more easily.
Try using a walking foot: A walking foot can help feed the batting evenly through the machine, which may help prevent bunching and puckering.
Use a sharp blade to trim the batting: Before sewing, make sure the edges of the batting are clean and even. Use a sharp blade to trim any frayed or uneven edges.
If none of these tips help, it's possible that there may be an issue with your sewing machine that requires a professional repair.
If your Alfa 606 is snapping the thread and not doing even stitching, there are a few things you can try to fix the issue:
Check the thread: Make sure you are using the correct type and weight of thread for your fabric. Check that the thread is not old or brittle, and that it is properly threaded through the machine.
Adjust the tension: Double-check that your tension is set correctly. If the tension is too tight, it can cause the thread to snap. If the tension is too loose, it can cause uneven stitching.
Check the needle: A dull or bent needle can cause the thread to break. Make sure you are using the correct size and type of needle for your fabric.
Clean the machine: Lint and debris can build up in the machine and cause issues. Clean your machine thoroughly, including the bobbin case and feed dogs.
Try a different stitch length: If the longer stitch length is causing issues, try switching back to a shorter stitch length to see if that solves the problem.
If none of these solutions work, it may be time to take your machine in for servicing or to consult with a sewing machine technician.
It really depends on what you want your stitch to look like. A longer stitch length will put more space between the stitches. Shorter stitch length will close the gap between stitches. Stitch width determines how wide the stitch will be.
Possibly the touch pad is bad. Are they any other buttons that don't work? Usually when the touch pad is bad other buttons won't work either. If only the stitch length won't work then the step motor for the feed is bad or you have a bad board.
It depends on a couple of things. Depending on the fabric you're using you might want to use a stabilizer like an iron on tear away. If the stitches are bunching the stitch length might be to tight. Try going to 0.3. if the stabilizer doesn't work. With the stabilizer on, it will keep the fabric firmer so it won't pucker. Make sure you have the decorative stitching foot on the machine with the little indentation for the satin stitch to ride in. If you have the wrong foot on, this will cause bunching too. Let me know if this helps.
Try this to see if it helps:
Remove top thread.
ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning.
Start the top tension set at the midway point and then adjust.
Check that the bobbin is threaded and installed correctly.
1. Make sure the feed dog "switch" is in the correct position. It is located under the free arm, directly under the needle plate area. 2. Make sure your stitch length knob is in a position OUTSIDE of the orange reverse stitch positions.
