I put a smal load in my washer on the delicate cycle, pressed and held start button, door locked, water started and I saw the fluids enter the drum, then got F35 error after.
Hi, Both of these fault codes point to a pressure switch issue. If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch. With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions. If the fault codes return after diong this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch. If you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to comment again, Good luck.
Take the top off the washer by removing the 3 screws along the back. Then look to the back right for the part with the small plastic tube attached. That is the pressure/water level switch.
I Just fixed My Whirlpool Duet Steam washer that had a F35 error. I did just what? you said!!! This great! My wife is going to think I am a Genius! This video is awesome. Just washed a load!!!!
Where exactly is the pressure switch? Is it the first switch on the left where the water lines come into or is it one of the three "relays" or switches on the backside of the washer where the water lines runs into? As far as i can see, there is no blockage on the first switch.

My washer is just over a year old and I got the same error F35....wash load cycle stopped and doors locked. I had to schedule Sears service to come in....at $80 only to find out the pressure switch has to be replaced and the hose. All together it will cost us $500 for a washer that is 1 year old. I wish I never left my Whirlpool Duet at our old house. I can't believe we have to pay practically 33% of the cost for repair a year later. I would not recommend this washer to anyone based on that. My husband is contacting Sears to complain - if there is a known issue, then they should recall it and pay for the fix.
What does the pressure switch look like?
Just wanted to say that searching for a pressure switch is about impossible. You will find it under a water level switch.
This machine is a farce! I cannot believe I wasted over 2,000 on this machine. I wish I had my " Real washing machine back!" Sears can have this back......
I hate my machine. Just over a year old, F35 failure code. Wish I still had my reliable Maytag. And this failure is on a machine that replaced the FIRST one of these **** I bought. So I've had not one, but TWO units fail within 15 months of purchase! Anyone else have this miserable experience? What a total sham these machines are. Sears is less than supportive of their "flagship" product name.
Same here I hate this kenmore elite he sears should fix this problem for free or show how to fix it with a video or something . The problems are the SUD and F 35 code. Someone should call Dateline..

Put the load in, everything seems fine, then the washer stops and I get the F35 code. I have to press the stop button, the washer drains, the clothes are soaking wet. Took everything out and reloaded them. I got the same F35 code. Tried a different load, which worked fine. Tried a third, different load and got the F35 code again. I just want to be able to wash my family's clothes. It's getting frustrating. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I have the same problem!! F35 error message is not in the manual. Don't know what the problem is. Sears can't seem to figure it out either now that I am on the phone with them!
I also put in a small load of clothes on a regular cycle and it washed normal for a while and then appeared the F35 error code. Contacted Sears the guy first told me that the code was not there then he said that it was the machines inablilty to determine how much water (water level) is inside the machine. However this requires a tech to fix. I have not had this washer for a year yet and it already needs service...disapointed...but a great machine when it works right. So I now have to figure out another way to wash my clothes for 5 days.
I screwed up and bought non HE detergent. Of course we didn't find out until after trying to figure out why our washer was flashing F 35, and it isn't in the manual. My husband saw that the detergent was bad, and we immediately stopped using it and bought the correct detergent. We ran several maintenance cycles, but it still only works sometimes. Maybe after 3 or 4 attempts I finally get the washer to run a cycle. Sometimes that doesn't even work. We still have F35 flashing. I just want to be able to wash clothes. So frustrated.
We are having the same problem with our Kenmore "Elite" Washer. F35 Code and door locks - cant even turn off the machine. Looks like Sears needs to get on top of this right away.
Was anyone able to figure out the problem? What DID the F35 code mean & how could it be fixed??
