I have used a 128mb card for several years but now it and the original 8mb card are not showing up on the computer or at a store Kodak machine.

Sorry, but your camera only can work with SmartMedia cards. These cards are no longer common use. I your camera still can make great pictures, it must be like 12 years of age. It will be difficult to get memory cards for it.
Don't try to put a card in the camera other than a SmartMedia, or you will decently damage the camera.
