If you don't the know the brand of your TV but you have the old remote, most One for all remotes have learn capability - i.e you can teach it codes from the old Tv remote by keep it face to face and programming different key for each function. You will have to check the instruction manual of the One for all remote to get into learn mode.

The brand of your TV should be written somewhere on the TV itself, If it is not immediatly apparant it may be on the back or underside.

My matsui tv keeps saying 'select the service setup menu to add new services' but I don't know where it is. help?

Service setup; means service mode. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. View it in "Timeslide" or "Flipcard" option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. You can also click the [Home] tab to see the latest updates. It will make search easy. There are more than 1350 posts to different brand TVs now. Pull up older posts there or make a search by typing in the brand name of the device in the "Search Box", at the top right of the display window

I have a "classic electronics" universal remote

I don't mean to be smart. but the best option for you is to go buy a new remote from wal-mart. As this remote sounds like it is an off brand remote and you will most likely never find the instructions for it.

No picture on TV and can't get autotune table up

The TV is obsolete now.

You could go to Best buy and get a digital tuner.

I got one. Actually worth it. Perfect picture, but its like letterboxed.

You could subscribe to Basic cable.

I'm finding it strange that this far into the situation, that people don't understand
that their tuners are useless now.

Get a digital tuner.

Or a Brand NEW High Definition TV!!!!!

What is the code to program an rca remote to an orion tv

They don't have codes for an Orion. However, if I guessed at compatibility, I'd try:
005
064
076
008
009
In that order. If that doesn't work, let me know and we can take a couple more guesses. The codes noted are all codes used by other Orion made brands.

I have a sharp 32sh12u that has a problem where sometimes i would be watching something the image stand stills then fades to sync with current frame then eventually show vertical lines. The picture will...

I don't yet have a solution for this problem, As I to have the Sharp model LC 32SH12U 32 inch LCD Tv. From what I have seen and read in searching for a relatively cheaper fix than just tossing out this $600.00 Tv,I have heard T-CON Board MANY MANY times now up until today I had a guy tell me that he was pretty certain that it is the SCREEN PANEL!!! I wouldn't think that if the screen was bad it's self it would show ANY colors or tints, Lines or what have you..I just think the T-CON Board is gone bad in this Tv As it has perfect sound, And like most everyone elses for a while after my TV warmed up it would play like a champ and had a BEAUTIFUL PICTURE until now I think the T-CON Board has gone completely out on it. Sharp must have undoubtably purchased ton's of BAD T-CON Boards that fit not only this TV but also the AOC,DYNEX,INSIGNIA,And Vizio Brand's of LCD TV's...The VERY Same T-CON board which is Part Number X3562TP ,Is futted in every one of these same brands of TV's And I feel they have gone bad in Thousands of LCD TV's and it has Obviously caused thousands of people some very bad issues with their entertainment products..my wife and I are TV Folk and that is what we do...WE watch TV,,And now that our Main TV is broken and we can't really afford to just go out and Buy a new one I have to try and repair this one,And as Cheaply as I can, So I may be about to waste $40.00 on a T-CON Board, But hey I gotta KNOW..If this don't fix it, Im just gonna part the TV out on EBAY and go for another brand of TV..I thought SHARP was a really good brand of TV, But from what I have learned..our money would have been better spent on a different brand of TV!!! If this DOES repair our Tv I will be certain to come back and let everyone know!!

Trying to incorporate my Hannspree remote with my cable remote as to use just the cable remote......? Thanks, ph

Hi, unfortunately the only way to use your particular brands remote with your cable companies remote is if the cable remote has what's called a "LEARN " key. This is used for cloning another remotes codes to the cable's remote. Unfortunately most tv suppliers don't provide their codes for universal remote use. The first thing i would do is contact your cable providers customer assistance to see if they have setup codes for your brand. then if that doesn't work then you can always buy a universal remote with a " LEARN " function, enabling use with hanspree tv as well as current cable box. I hope this was helpful and thanks, let us know how we did, Good luck ,Prodzilla

Video splitters

I don\'t know about your specific brand, but splitters have losses that are typically 3.5,6, 7.5 and 11 for 2,3,4 and 8 way.

In most cable modem applications, we use a single 2-way so that the cable modem has only a minimum loss, then the TV\'s get put on the other side of the 2-way and split as many times as needed.

Here\'s a link to a typical splitter manufacturer where you can see the printed insertion loss of the various splitters.
