SOURCE: punch 100a2 problem ouch

Double check the ground make sure you have a clean connection. check the ohm load on the speaker should be around four ohm. Or just try another speaker. And just temporary run a jumper wire from the positve to the remote unhook the remote from the radio first. It is possible you have 12 volts but if you have a bad connection it can drop off and send the amp into a default. and it looks like you have 12 volts. you have the 12 volts but no amps. Its a long shot but better than nothing. By the way if you call Rocford Fosgate they will email you a schematic for free if it is an archive file atleast they used to. Go to the website there you should find a contact number.

SOURCE: My amp only powers the subwoofer when the radio is on but wont when the cd player is on

The person(s) who hooked up your system made a boo boo. They wired your remote turn on lead to the power antenna lead instead of the amp turn on line (both are blue and easy to mix up). Thus when your radio is on it sends a signal to the amp and the amp turns on, but when you set to CD the signal goes away and your amp shuts down. Easy fix, just re-wire the amp turn on lead and the problem will be fixed.

I TAKE IT THAT YOU ARE REQUESTING A SOURCE FOR A PAIR OF ENDCAPS FOR YOUR PUNCH-200IX. IF THIS IS THE CASE, I SUGGEST THAT YOU CHECK EBAY ON A WEEKLY BASIS AS I AM SURE AFTER SOME TIME, YOU WILL SEE A PAIR LISTED. THERE IS ALSO A SELLER ON EBAY THAT HAS MANY OF THE LOGOS FOR THE MANY DIFFERENT MODELS THAT CAN BE PLACED ON ANY OTHER MODEL ENDCAPS FROM THE SAME SERIES (DSM, IX, X2, ETC. LET ME KNOW IF I MISUNDERSTOOD YOUR REQUEST......V

I just bought 1 10" pioneer ts-w254r subwoofers.. all I have is a 300w rockford fosgate punch amplifier. Will they work together or do I need a bigger amp?

they should work fine with that Punch, but if you are crazy about Bass freq certainly you will need a bigger amp at some point...IMHO

Not sure how to find actual length of hip rafters from plumb cut at ridge to birdsmouth at wallplate.I have 2 stanley quick squares but have misplaced the little instruction books.I would appreciate your...

Use Pythagorus. Measure the horizontal length from the plumb ridge cut to the position where the horizontal birds mouth touches the top plate on the wall closest to the ridge. This point should be 1 1/2" in from the outside edge of the wall. This is your run.
Now measure the vertical height from the top of your wall plate to the where the bottom of your vertical cut from the rafter will end up on your ridge. This is your rise.
A squared plus B squared equals C squared. Get your calculator out, if the run is 12 feet and the rise is 4 feet, then 12 squared (144) + 4 squared (16) equals 160. The square root of 160 is 12.65 ft. or 12 feet 7.79" long. There are other ways, but this is most accurate. Make sure your ridge is parallel to you wall.

I have a rockford fosgate x7 amp and the fan stop working and a little while after playing it shut off what do you think

replace the fan in the amp, sounds like the amp is overheating and the cut off is kicking in... you can try the amp while not driving and the car parked, put a fan, like a desk fan where the amp is so it flows over the amp fins, and run the amp turn it up and let it work, see if it still shuts off after that, if so then it could be something internal nut sounds like it is the fan to me... and i have worked with many an amp and system in cars and trucks... hope this helps you

Punch p1 10" not working

I had the same issue with 2 Punch p1's. The wire stripping was most likely cut where the wires are saddled against 2 bare metal "C" shaped tabs before going toward the cone and coil. This was causing the wire to ground out. I cut both wires and **** connected them and bypassed the factory bracket. They work fine now. This is a poor desogn from Rockford and I can see where it might happen numerous times.
