Sounds like either your computer is in hibernation mode or your TV is set to sleep, what type of connection to your computer are you using? I do believe in this model Vizio there is a sleep option on each of the Video sources. But I would guess its your computer going into either sleep mode or in your running windows 7 Hybrid sleep mode.

I cant change my VT2230-M to the tv setting. I turn it on, the power light turns blue, and then the parrots come up. then the Monitor goes blank.

I had the same problem. It appears to be due to a bad tv tuner. Turn on your computer and leave the coax unplugged. Leave it for a while (15-30 min). When you see "snow" on your screen, you will be able to use the source button to change to another input and see if you can get a signal. I am running my cable through a dvd recorder and using the AV input to watch tv. Also, my HDMI, component and RGB work fine. After thank don't try to access the TV source until you have had your tuner replaced.

Yes my dell xps 410 is barely used but the problem im having is when i turn it on that the picture is snowy u know like when the cable goes out or when you cant get no reception i cant get nothing on...

That's a very strange problem. The typical problem with a monitor is that there is no signal, and so the screen goes into a "screen saver" mode. It sounds like it is behaving as if it were a TV. Does your computer have a TV tuner on it? Some models have this option. I'm just wondering if you might have accidentally changed something. Was it working fine up until just now?

Im trying to connect a bsr xr eq to my avr687 denon receiver

If you want the EQ to affect the iPod music only, you can hook up the iPod output to the EQ input, then the EQ output to your receiver's AUX input (or DAT input, or whatever you're using to listen to iPod music.

If you want the option of using EQ for other signals as well, then you hook up the EQ to the TAPE inputs/outputs (TAPE OUT goes to EQ input, and EQ output goes to TAPE IN)

If you hook it up this way, then you have to select MONITOR or TAPE MON to get the equalized signal.

Use as a computer monitor?

The Polaroid TLX01511C 16" Class (15.4" Diagonal) is capable of receiving audio and video signal in ATSC and NTSC systems. With the host computer, use as the display terminal and connect the 3.5mm (diameter) audio cord to your computer’s audio main board so you can listen to music from your host computer through the Polaroid TLX01511C.

When i am listening to music i notice that the music starts to get quieter and after about 1 hour or so it goes silent if i just leave it i cant see the slider moving when i watch it but when i leave it...

Look for a fade or cross fade function.

Use the "help" feature of the TB software to research things under these two names. Somehow one of these might have got set to a long time period rather than never.
