Date View Can someone advise how to make the date appear on the picture while viewing and/or printing the picture

I called Canon and they said that date is not available with S400. However, you can get some programs that will print the date on the pictures yourself. Each picture has stored the date it was taken inside the picture file (embedded). Hope that helps.

How to view dates while printing for Lumix DMC - TZ3


The camera will not show the date while taking pictures. The camera can stamp the date onto the photo, but the image size will be reduced. See page 66 of the manual: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/DMCTZ2.PDF.

However the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. I need to have the date and time printed on my pics from pc, from digital cam Sony DSC-S730 Please advise urgently!

               Unfortunately the DSC-S730 doesnt have timestamp feature however, The Good news is, you can actually upload the picture to a computer and chech its properties and you will see the date and time when it was created and with pmb you can actually view your pictures along with the date and time stamped on it( click here to see how)OR you can also use the supplied software pmb to print out the picture with the date and time based on the actual properties that is embeded on the picture OR you can connect your camera to a pictbridge compliant printer to directly print your pictures with the date and time.

Windows Explorer will not display Date Picture Taken


When you saved the pictures in My Pictures it will only show the date modified.
