Yes if its working properly. A 20 degree temp. differential between its supply air and return air its good.

No service ports on the unit. It needs to have a service port soldered to it and the system breached before you can check / charge.

WILL A TRACE 2012 INVERTER RUN A 15000 BTU RV AIR CONDITIONER

According to specs, they will take a 44 amp AC power surge. Obviously number and type of batteries as well as battery condition , etc, plugged in, not plugged in to outside hydro, or generator all come in to play here, but a 15,000 BTU roof AC will only draw, 15-17Amps AC when compressor kicking in, ( or less on some new models) and should level out at 12 -13 amp draw after. As well, this will depend on proper wiring to and from main panel as well as AC unit, and incoming voltage, AC unit condition ( cleaned and maintained properly) etc.

Duo Therm RV air conditioner inadequate cooling

The rule of thumb is 20F difference (lower) than ambient temperature. Most manufacturers will tell you 20 F degress is about normal. In your case it does sound a little warm, but I need to ask, sorry. Was it working o.k. before in same basic temperatures? Have you cleaned coils & fins good on Evaporator & condenser recently? Have you removed filter inside & cleaned it as well, and looked to see if coils are frosting up by chance? Is this a ducted or non ducted system? I'm guessing on a 5th wheel, it is ducted, so make sure you have good discharge on all of those as well. Any blockage or restriction on the discharge side will also cause the problem. Keep me posted on what you find.

I bought an older camper with a colman roof unit ac. My question is do I need to put small filters under the intake grates inside the camper below the ac cover. There is nothing in there. (bought it this...

its good to put them in, as it will keep dust from building up on the coils, thus reducing cooling.just buy some filter material at any hardware store, coarse, like a sponge, not fine paper stuff.
