A universal remote is not an option on todays televisions because there are so many custom options that need to be set with the remote. You will have to find an OEM model. Being a plasma unit this might be hard to do. Try EBAY
From what I can tell the EUR7627Z60 was originally shipped with the following Panasonic products: TH-37PX50U, TH-37PX50U, TH-42PD50, TH-42PD50U, TH-42PX50, TH-42PX50U, TH-42PX50UA, TH50PX50, TH50PX50U, TH-42PD50, TH-42PD50U
Try to unplug and replug the power cord. If TV remains unchanged you need to call for service. The power supply board was defective. In worse case, the Y and buffers are defective, too. There are many steps needed to figure out the exact defective board. You need help from TV repairer unless you want DIY.
Unfortunetly, this part has been discontinued by Panasonic. You may want to try ebay to locate this item. The part number you are looking for is TY-ST42PX5W. Good Luck!
