I have a gaggia delux and the water never heats up.

Hi
There is a reset button inside on the left side of the boiler. You may have a burnt out element. you could have a fuse that is burnt out also. The fuse is on top of the boiler inside the plastic covered wire.

Our 7 year old Saeco Magic Delux has started to leak water when we fill the tank. It runs out of the bottom of the tank and down the side. Happens about 20% of the time. Is it worth having a 7 year old one...

If I understand well the problem is only with tanks valve which means the spring have become more soft and stays a litle open so you have water leak. It maybe because some scale or dirt keep it open some time.
In order to decide if it wise to fix it or not the answer is simple if you have a good coffee result in cup which means that the grinder grinds good, presure pump work good and boiler heat up ok then you will only need to complete descale the machine and replace only small cheap parts and you will have a very good machine again for some more years. Remember a brand new machine will do the same espresso like yours.

Seaceo magic delux. Steam nozzle gives water and steam (just about) the machine makes a very loud drilling noise while trying to serve the coffee. Coffee is ground and moist when put in dispenser as it...

Please explain problem better. Whats this " just about " when you describe water and steam. Also on this cut off point that machine is getting hot . This machine gets hot normally , there is a heat cut off mounted on boiler but you would have to remove top off machine and physically check which I don't think you did.

Expresso comes out warm not hot what is problem

The magic delux has only one boiler so if you are getting hot water and steam, then it could be that the cup used to brew into is taking the heat from your espresso, trly warming up the cup before brewing into.

Our Saeco Delux Magic coffee maker will not grind the coffee when we push the button. A light comes on that indicates that the grinder could be jammed.

Hi
The grinders run on a timer. If the grinders does not fill the doser in time you will get a light saying no beans. If this happens and there are beans in the hopper push the lever to the largest # and push the brew button again. This will clear the light and it should brew. If it is at the largest # already your beans are probably shiny and there is to much oil in the beans and this is what is clogging the grinder.

Combi boiler no DHW

if the boiler fires when the tap is opened then the diverter valve is working ok it must be a blocked plate heat exchanger which is the stainless steel rectangular block inside the boiler connected to the pump and the mains cold water.
it will be blocked on the central heating part probably with black scale. it is possible to clean out but sometimes it is better to just change the plate. but remember to flush the system as well or the same thing will happen.

No power to boiler - cold coffee

Heating element on boiler is defective. Depending on which model magic you have there might be a seperate boiler for the steamer. No power to heat plate would suggest heating element on heat plate has gone bad or worse case there's a malfunction on the pc board of some sort as everything is fed to it. If it is the board, unless it is the magic redesign (rectangle board vs triangle board), it cannot be replaced as saeco does not carry that part any longer.
