That "hissing" was most likely an electronic component frying. At 6 months it might still be under warranty- you do probably need a new set. I have been using a 32" Emerson LCD as my PC monitor for +9 years now, no problems. It is run with HDMI to the PC HDMI video card, at 1280x768 @60Hz and Windows 10.

Can you try to connect the Monitor to another computer and connect a different monitor to your computer - this might be a way to understand if the problem is in the "Monitor side" or the "Computer side - graphic card - driver". Another option is to lower the resolution and see if the problem still exists: Try to change the screen resolution to 600x800 in
->Settings->Control Panel->Display on the "Settings Tab" (the right most tab)

I'm getting trails using an HDMI cord on my Vizio 32" TV. Is thsi because the HDMI is too fast for the max 720p resolution? Should I switch to component cables? I'm also using a Bluray player when it...

This problem is actually called Ghosting.
Ghosting is what happens during high action scenes or during any scenes that have low light.
There's really no way to fix it other than getting a better tv. Vizio isn't really the greatest.
The video processor on the Vizio is unable to keep up with the input and it creates ghosting.

Dell E177FPB monitor has ghost images "bleeding"

I had dual monitor with color bleed to the right. The solution was
1) identify optimal resolution for both monitors ( Dell 198wfp @ 1400 x 900) and (Laptop @ 1200 x 800) 2) check colour setting (32 bit or 16 bit) 3) reduce colour setting down to 16 bit) 4) Check performance 5) reduce screen resolution 6) check 7) cycle between screen color and screen resolution 8) if no luck, check updating the drivers for graphic card 9) if no luck, check updating monitor drivers 10) if no luck, check altering memory set aside for graphics (onboard memory for example or off-graphics-chip-on-RAM-memory) 11) Monitor checking software is very helpful : try "http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?id=22" for the Nokia Monitor Test (a CRT tester) or any other freeware/shareware testing program such as passmark's products etc.,
You might just have to suffer with a large workspace and mungy grapics performance though ... I am.

Monitor is ghosting, white trails.

You might want to try detaching the monitor and trying it on another computer unit to see if the problem still exists.  If it only occurs on your unit, then try updating the drivers on your system and see if that solves it.

My washing machine is only 6 or 7 mths old everything still working fine it just isnt spinning its still pumping water out though!

Chances are extremely good that you just have a broken coupler. These parts range from $15 - $25 on average. Were there any signs of foul play before this problem? Does your washer agitate(plastic fin in the middle rotate back and forth and wash the clothes)? Basically, if the coupler is broken, the machine with neither agitate or spin. However, you do not need a coupler to pump water out :)

I would definitely have it repaired. You should spend a little on the part + labor. Those are excellent washers and they do not make them anymore!

Most opticals do not track on smooth white surfaces. It needs textures or color. Try pressing the "CONNECT" button on the bottom of the mouse and on the remote sensor.

Ghost and No Sound

On board sound card adapter (integrated) or separate sound card?
Which type? It is not being recognized because you failed to tell something or submit a required friver during installation and most probably it is no standard device
