If your washer is going through normal spin cycles, then you need to first check and make sure your drain hose is not clogged up. If it isn't then you will need to check to see if the drain pump is receiving a signal from the control board to activate. If it receives the signal from the control board, then your drain pump is either bad or clogged. If it doesn't receive the signal then it is most likely the control board.

Washer didnt drain all the way and now i keep gettin a code. n the light for the door lock wont come on

If water is in tub and the control tries to drain tub but water doesn't drain, then the unit will not operate. Most LG have a drain pump clean out located behind the access door on lower side of washer. Open the door and you will see a black tube with a cap and a round knob. First, get a bucket, pull the black tube slightly out and remove cap. The water in the tub will start to drain and you may have to fill bucket many times to get all water out. Next, unscrew knob and a little screen will pull out. Inspect this screen and inside of pump chamber. Your looking for any thing that could block the pump. If pump hums and still doesn't drain, the drain pump is more than likely bad. Good Luck

Just had the exact same issue with my F&P it would stay in the drain cycle(without draining). It would show 2 minutes left in the cycle, dropping to 1 minute, but would never complete the cycle.
For some reason the machine would not drain the water from the drum and would continually remain in the drain cycle, spinning the load(back & forth), but not draining the water.
----------
This is how I sorted the machine: -
1. I turned off & unplugged the machine.
2. I drained the machine manually. Opening the manual drain compartment located at the bottom right of the machine.
a). Firstly drained the majority of the water using the small black hose into a plastic container(ice cream container will be fine). Took a little while as the machine was quite full and I also didn't want to flood the laundry.
b). Once I had drained most of the water I undid the filter plug to drain the remainder of the water, which wasn't too much & was able to mop up with a towel. I gave the filter a good clean, removing as much build up in there(which in actuality was very little lint, gunk, etc. Though I did find a small button & a collar stay wedged in there).
3). I blew very hard into the washing machine drain hose a few times(read this on another forum so thought I'd give it a try!). Use a plastic bag, etc. to cover the hose etc. for hygiene purposes :)
4). I then plugged & turned on the machine. The machine went straight back into the 2 minute drain cycle. It attempted to drain/pump remaining water, however this time machine successfully went through the 2 minute drain cycle. Machine stopped, counted down, click and I was able to open the door.
I put the washing through a rinse setting to see whether the machine would complete cycle. I can happily report that the machine completed the rinse cycle on the washing with no issues. I also put through another load to see if it would complete a full wash cycle, which I can report it happily did so.
This may have just saved me a grand$ :)
Good luck.
cheers

My washer has gone through the cycle and the door will not unlock. Please help.

Hello,
TYpically the door wont unlock due to not all the water draining from the tub so the water level switch isn't satisfied the water has drained and wont allow the door to unlock.

The most likely problem is that the drain pump screen is clogged so its not draining and if it isn't draining it wont spin.
To check the pump remove the lower panel and the lower right side will be the pump, unscrew the big white cap a little and use towel(s) to catch the water that comes out ,when all water out remove completly and check for blockage.

Dishwasher not emptying at the end of its cycle. If water siphoned out will work temporarily then fails again, with water remaining standing inside machine. Check water indicator light is on, goes off when...

Not sure of your light indicator; check the manual. But fyi there should be a little water left in, so the rubber seal doesn't dry out. More than that, and could be clogged drain or bad solenoid, which tells it to open and drain. See: http://www.partselect.com/repair.aspx?appliance=dishwasher&part=water-wont-drain

Whirlpool AWM1200 washing machine wont advance at certain stages

there is a little motor in the selector switch that moves the dial around.  This little motor is defective and needs replacement.  Sometimes it's sold separately and sometimes you need the whole timer.
