I have a tedelex television model nr ec2127m. I want to know how to take the childlock off wihtout a remote

Unplug it for 5 minutes and plug it back in. Check that you or the cat haven't pressed the Source or Input button on the remote. Make sure your signal provider doesn't have an outage.

Pack it up and take it to a local repair shop.

Hi,

You cannot remove childlock without remote control.

You will require a remote control to remove childlock because the control pannel on TV is locked so you will not be able to operate it.

You should replace it with the original, call Orion sales at 618 392 7000.

look for a master remote control or a replacement of your type.

unplug it for and hour or two and plug it back in
usually this will reset the tv's settings and the child lock will be turned off.

Sorry man The only way I know to unlock it is with the original remote. They are available at http://www.remotes.com You have to press the M or Mute button and the F or the Function button at the same time. If the remote you have has these buttons try them. Like I said if it doesnt work, you will need an original remote. See if anyone you know has one you can borrow or the store where you bought the TV, maybe they will let you borrow one. Good Luck
