I can't sign into YM using my ovi id. I've try many times but still cannot. please help. thanks

I've got several ideas to try to get around "Invalid ID or password. Please try again."

• Set your CAPS LOCK key correctly. Passwords are case sensitive. Be sure to keep this in mind when entering your password.
• Wait up to 24 hours. If you recently requested a new password or changed your password, this allows your account to update.
• Sign in with the correct Yahoo! ID. Make sure that you are using the correct Yahoo! ID when signing in to your account. If you forgot your Yahoo! ID, you can search for your Yahoo! ID online.
• Delete your cookie files. A cookie is a small piece of information stored by your browser that helps identify you. If your cookie isn't being accepted correctly, you'll be logged out of your account as soon as you move to a different page.
  To delete your cookies, close all browser windows, find the "cookies" directory, and delete the cookie files inside. To find cookies directories on a PC, search for "cookies" using the Search function in your Start menu that pops up from the lower-left corner. On a Mac, press Command-F to start Spotlight, which searches your system.
• Clear your browser's cache. At times, it's necessary to clear your browser's cache . The cache is the memory your browser uses to store content of the web pages that you visit. Storing that content lets your browser load those same pages more quickly the next time you visit them.

If you're still having problems after trying these steps, please request a new password. When you receive your new password, you can change it.

1. Open your Ovi account by going to http://www.ovi.com on your computer
2. Sign in with your Ovi user ID and password
3. Select the Account link at the top
4. Select Edit your basic information
5. Change your language here and save
6. Once your language has been saved, sign out and sign back in.

• Check your Yahoo ID is CORRECT(Use ID using for Opening Yahoo mail)
• Check Password(Use Password using for Opening Yahoo mail)
• OFF caps Lock if it is ON
• Try to Sign in With DIFFERENT MAIL ID

Still Problem

1. Uninstall Yahoo messenger From Computer
2. Reboot PC
3. Click here and Install latest Version
4. TYPE user Name & password Correctly
5. You are solved

1st sorry 4 my poor English.
if you have problem to sigin Yahoo Messenger(YM) . 1st you check the internet explore(IE)is working correctly. most of the time it don't work. (but Firefox,chrome,Gtalk,etc..etc.. are works correctly)
so go to IE ->Tools->Internet options->Connections->LAN Settings-> Check Automatically Detect settings and uncheck other options (See the Screen shot below).
Now IE and YM will work fine....

did you try to reinstall it again.. ym always has a problem.

are you using the latest YM? why not try downloading the latest YM but before installing it, uninstall some unwanted programs or those that you dont use anymore...free some disk space.

then try installing the latest YM now.
