It seems that you have already did the basic troubleshooting for your laptop. Now, all I can advise is for you to bring your laptop to a service center near you to further check the circuitry and the board.

I'm afraid this sounds like a fairly major hardware failure to me (possibly motherboard) your best bet is to contact Acer and see if there is any help they can provide

when you play the game turn your graphics down and it will play better like 1260x800 turn it down to 400x 600

uninstall any game recently installed (cossacks).

open your back side of laptop.refix battery and refix ram. then chek.

download drivers from http://www.laptops-drivers.com/acer-notebooks/free-download-driver-acer-aspire-4520.html

i think you should change the camera it self not the driver problem because i had the same problem and i send back to acer, hope this can help you..

back up from one system...can we use in another ?

I am using ACER (Aspire 4520), with Windows Vista BASIC & then once i have format my laptop & install Vista Ultimate on it from that time my webcam is not appearing on desktop & I am enable to use web cam & another problem is when I have install yahoo massager that was installed on the time I start working all of the sudden it disappear plz provide me solution of this
