SOURCE: Brand new watch won't work

Check your users manual if your watch have two batteries. If yes, you need to replace digital part battery.
If your watch has only one battery, your digital screen or plate is defective. Bring it back to the retailer and ask to replace for the decently working watch.
But first of all try to fiddle with all pushbattons- sometimes it helps.

SOURCE: Set time on Fossil DQ1138 Watch

Press and hold the SET button (it will read CHIME with a flashing on or off). Then push the MODE button - the top will be flashing 12-HR or 24-HR. Push the ST/SP button to toggle between the 12-HR to 24-HR reading. Push the MODE button to get to the hour/minute/second/year/mo-day/month/day value you want to change. Push the ST/SP button to increase the value, the RESET button to reduce the value.

Second hand and battery replacement on fossil watch

Fossil watches have an 11 year warranty. Any jeweler can replace the battery. If that doesn't solve the problem and you registered the watch or still have the receipt call 1-800-TICTOC1 for repair.

I HAVE A CHIPPED CRYSTAL (GLASS FACING). WHERE CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT AND/OR HAVE THE CHIPPED CRYSTAL REPLACED?

Here is a link to the fossil website's policies on repair. http://www.fossilcanada.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ContentView?langId=-1&storeId=32563&catalogId=20509&page=warrantyRepairs

If your watch is not in warranty you may have to pay for the repair. Send your watch to fossil at the address listed on their website and follow their guidelines by including a description of the problem and other necessary information.

For a solution that may be faster, you could try taking the watch to a local jeweler to see they can repair it. This is unlikely though, because the may not have the crystal to repair it.That is worth a try though. At the very worst, you will have to send the watch to fossil for a repair.

What battery does the fossil fs 3105 watch take

It's actually a lot easier than that video shows. You're trying to represent a watch that is a PDA! To change the battery in your watch, you need to purchase a watch kit on eBay for about $15-$25, purchase the correct battery, watch a realistic video of changing a battery on Youtube, and then you will never need to pay more than the cost of a battery (a few dollars) to change your watch battery ever again! Sending it to Fossil takes time and money and you can do it at home with basic skills!

I have a big tic watch but after a battery change the digital number display on watch face no longer works, why?

Who changed the battery, you or a watch repair serviceman? Did you replace the battery bar after you replaced battery? Did you check and see if there was a second battery (some watches have two)
You may need to have it serviced. Or try Fossil at :

What battery do i need for my fossil watch its one with changing display thank you

its the norm for fossils to have 2 batterys one for the hand function and one for the back display. it depends on year or what movement is fitted.you will have a 3v battery for back display and under it there maybe a smaller cell 1.5 .it could be a 2016 or even2025 3voltand a 364 or 377 small cell but you wont know untill the backs off the watch and remember you need it resealing to make sure its water resistant after its been repaired this needs to be done by fossil or a good watch repair service like Intime watch services uk..you have to AC the movement as well to make sure all functions work it needs to be done by a trained tech..

Fossil Big Tic Watch - setting the correct time on the digital display

The watch is scrolling through the seconds, and is not something that needs to be set. If there is a bottom it is only there to change the way the seconds are scrolling? There are many different types of these, but most are just standard seconds.

Display not working

If I remember correctly, these watches have two batteries.. one for the time and one for the animation.... you probably just need battery replaced.
