I have a model GDM-26. It's was blowing really cold, 30 degrees, then warm, 50 degrees, alternating between the two. Now it's not blowing cold at all and the coils on top do not get cool/cold. Both upper and lower fans are working, the compressor is running smooth no clicking on or off and the condenser on the bottom is totally clean, also the thermostat seems to work, it turns the compressor off when you switch it to zero. It was manufactured in 1999. Any help would be appreciated,

Hi,
The way you described the problem, I would be looking for a refrigerant leak... I think that it was low on charge and now it is so low that it will not cool at all...

Have a tech. find/fix the leak and recharge the unit...

2009 Mercury Mountaineer, my heater wont work unless I'm driving and get over 50 mph... I let my car warm up for 20-30 minutes and it wont defrost my windshield, it only blows cold air.

i would check the thermostat,i think its stuck open the coolant is running cold so you should install a new thermostat with higher degree.

Unit alternates cold, warm, cold, warm etc..

in high temps AC units undergo whats called thermal inversion. This is when it blows hot inside and cold outside. I do not believe there is a fix for this. Maybe it is not properly sized for you room? If your unit is too small, it may be working too hard and inverting.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

What kind of oil should i use for a 2004 Chrysler town and country?

Driving conditions / oil

(Note all oils are NON-DETERGENT)

City hot / SAE 20W - 50
City warm / SAE 10W - 40
City cold / SAE 5 -30 or 5W-40

Rural hot / SAE 20W - 50
Rural warm / SAE 10W - 40
Rural cold / SAE 5W - 30

Brand does not really matter as the SAE designation makes them all the same other than a few manufacturer specific additives i.e Techron ect.

Our GDM-47 refrigerator is not cycling on and off. we changed the temperature control

Is it getting cold enough to cycle off. Should be around 10 degrees in the freezer. If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will gradually cause it to warm up because ot the blocked air flow.
