Images are round not rectangular

This is most likely an issue with the camera's image sensor. Your camera will need to be repaired by an authorized Fujifilm service center. Contact Fuji though as sometimes they have service advisories for issues such as this.

Hi

The problem you are experiencing with your Fuji FinePix E550 could be down to a number of reasons.

You do not say the memory card size you are using but the Dell 942 will probably only read cards xD-Picture Cards 1Gb or lower.

It maybe a better idea to remove the xD card from the camera and use a USB card reader to take the images off the card. Alternatively you could buy a replacement USB cable

problem of the lens unit ,replace with a new one

Match the output ports on the computer with the available input ports on the projector; VGA to VGA, S-Video to S-Video. VGA is trapezoidal, the inside usually bue, 3 rows of 5holes, the image of a screen next to it. S-Video is round, one rectangular hole, with a hole on its side; another hole opposed diametrically to the rectangular one, 2 groups of 2 holes disposed symetrically, the image of an elongated scree with an s in it and an arrow pointing outward to the right.

Mke sure not to shoot towards the sun when outdoors. When indoors, control the ISO manually, do not let the camera decide, because the camera will always choose the highest ISO setting, and this is the most 'grainy', containing the most digital noise. Try to choose either 100 or 200. This should help with your problems...

Not in the camera. The Fuji Frontier lab equipment can do it for you. Ask at the shop. You can also add to the image in software, but it's time-consuming.

They used to sell them at sears. Its a common duct item for vents. Try home Depot.

You just need new batteries. That's what the E550 does when the batteries get too low. Please get the latest rechargables. Many of the ordinary AA batteries won't last 50 pictures. Fuji also is rather poor telling you how to charge the rechargables. When the screen goes blue when you take a picture, you must use the camera's de=charging system before recharging--otherwise the rechargables will not take a full charge--that's what's likely happened to you!

It works fine for me. Reember it works ONLY in P mode. The problem is due to the Fuji E550 does not provide focus indicator, you have to judge the image to see when the object is in right focus.
