Date/time feature

How do you set the year in the date/time feature on the E-20N?

When setting the year portion of the date on the E-20N, there is two digits that need to be set separately. Please note: This was not the case with the E-10 camera.

To set the date and time on your camera, follow these steps:

Turn on the camera and set the language and date/time by following the instructions in the Extended User Manual.
Once you have set the date and time, you can turn on the Date Stamp feature by following the instructions in the User Manual . The date and time will be stamped on all pictures taken with this feature enabled.

Programming Without Button Overlays: <br />Although it is advisable to have a Partner programming manual and overlays when performing changes. Here are the basic steps for changing system time, day and date. The "Feature" key is self explanatory while other keys need a reference. "System Program" key is the left intercom key on the phone. The "Central Tel" key is the right intercom key. The "Next Data" key is the third key from the left with an LED on the top row of an 18 Button display set. Numbers # and * are simply entered as numbers of the dial pad.<br /><br />Avaya Partner System Date Program #101<br /> <br />Use this program to set the month, day and year. The system displays only the month and day on display telephones when the telephone is idle: the month, day and year also print out on SMDR call reports when used.<br /><br />Considerations: <br />The System Date date-stamps the back up files when you use Backup Programming.<br /><br />Programming Without Button Overlays:<br />The "Feature" key is self explanatory while other keys need a reference. Change the day by pressing "Next Data" until the day you want appears:<br />1=Sunday<br />2=Monday<br />3=Tuesday<br />4=Wednesday<br />5=Thursday<br />6=Friday<br />Exit programming mode by pressing Feature, 00 or lifting and hanging up the handset.<br /><br />Avaya Partner System Time Program #103<br /> <br />Considerations: <br />Enter the time in 24 hour notation. In this scheme, the hours of the day are 0000 (12 midnight) to 2459 (11:59). Since each time must have four digits, use leading zeros when necessary. The time appears on system phones as A.M. or P.M., not 24 hour notation.<br /><br />Programming: <br />To change system time: Press Feature, 00, System Program, System Program, #,103 at extension 10 or 11. Enter a new time in 24 hour notation. For example, to set time to 2:15 P.M., press 1415. This time will appear on the phone as 2:15 P. Select next procedure or exit programming mode by pressing Feature, 00 or lifting and hanging up the handset.

Setting the date and time in Windows 10
Note: Windows 10 automatically adjusts your date and time for you and only allows you to adjust the time if you disable this feature. If the wrong date and time is being set, you may need to change your time zone, or if you want to increase or decrease the time for other reasons, follow the steps below.

Right-click or tap on the date and time in the Windows Notification Area in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Click Adjust date/time.
Make sure your Time zone is set properly if your computer is displaying the wrong time.
To manually adjust the time, turn off the Set time automatically option and then click the Change button.

Setting the date and time in Windows 8
In the lower right-hand corner of the screen, click or tap the Windows Notification Area where you see the date and time.
Select Change date and time settings... in the bottom of the window that appears (shown below).

Click Clock.

Show date and time in menu bar: Select the checkbox to see the date and time in the top-left corner of the menu bar. In “Time options” and “Date options,” set how you want the date and time to appear.

Announce the time: Select the checkbox to hear the time announced, then choose when you want it announced. If you want, you can customize the voice.

How do I set date and time?

  1. To set the current date and time, press and hold down the SET/EDIT button for 2 seconds, let go and the Month (M) and Day (D) indicators will start flashing.
  2. While the Month (M) and Date (D) indicators are flashing press the LOCK button to cycle through the 3 available date formats.
  3. Once you have chosen an appropriate date format, press the SHIFT button to switch between each of the different DATE, MONTH, YEAR, HOUR and MINUTE fields. The field that is currently active will start flashing. To change a field's value press the LOCK button, each stroke of the Lock button moves one value up.
  4. Once you are finished setting the Date and Time press the SET/EDIT button to return to normal display.
Note: If you go past the current year, you will need to press the LOCK button to cycle through the year 2189, and back up to the current year. Be cautious when setting the year

Want to know can I set date and time

Yes. With the camera turned on, press the Menu button, and then scroll left or right until you are on the settings menu (hammer and wrench at the top). Scroll down until you are on the date/time setting option, and press the SET button. Use the left/right buttons to select month, day, year, hour, minute, and use the up/down buttons to change settings. Press SET to save, then press Menu to exit.

I have the date on my Olympus Stylus 1010 camera set, but when I download the pictures the date is gone. How do I set the camera to print pictures with the date?

Normally many cameras do not have date printing in its feature ..... while there wud a date setting ..... still try in your menu if there is any time or date stamping feature that needs to be turned on

Brand new Palm TX wont let me set the date to this year

Are you both sure that under the World Clock icon that the current date/time is set to the right year?
Sometimes the dates get set back incorrectly if the Palm dies.
