The E-10/20N battery holders are designed to fit the longer type CRV-3 lithium batteries and conventional sized AA NiMH batteries. Once installed into the battery compartment the AA sized batteries will make an electrical contact with the camera

with batteries , the flat base goes against the spring in the holder
there is generally a imprint under the battery in the holder which shows the battery direction to be installed

Turn AAA batteries into AA batteries in emergancy

all you need to do is roll up some tin foil into a flat circular shape the size of the battery that you need,circomfrence,not the actual size of the battery,put it against the spring on what ever gadget you need the batteries 4,then push the little AAA battery on the tin foil so it fits tight into the slot where the AA bigger battery should be and WALLA, sorted.your gadget should now work,and its the same principle with all batterys.

I have been on love with my Olympus e-20n since the day I bought it. Yes, it's only 5 mega-pixel but the SLR design and full manual functions out weigh the limited resolution. I was very disappointed when I tried to buy a replacement high capacity battery and Lithium Polymer 8400ah battery was not only discontinued but totally not available (except for some used ones on Ebay and I'm just not brave enough to buy a used battery)

So crafting a replacement became my Memorial Day Weekend project. One quick trip to Fry's Electronics later and I had the solution. A 6-cell AA battery holder, 6ea AA NiMH 2600ah rechangeables and a 9-volt battery clip with pig tail is all I needed.

Crack open the external battery add-on (looks like a power winder on a 35mm SLR) 4-screws on the botton, one inside the battery well and 2 under the rubber hand grip. Locate the battery connector and un-screw the RED and BLACK prime power leads from each side. Cover the connector with electric tape or an insulated cover, your done with it, forever.

Solder the pigtail 9-volt battery clip to the RED and BLACK leads (red to red and black to black, duh!). Extend the 9v battery clip outside the case and re-assemble the case.

The 6 AA-cell battery holder will fit nicely into the battery door cup and if you pack the vacant space in the battery well with sponge or an old gym sock the battery will not slide around.

Fill the AA battery holder with the rechargeable batteries you have freshly re-charged and hook up the 9v clip. Thats it, new life for the my old companion.

Not normally batteries, most are mains powered, but your is a single AA battery. The manual states;

The battery is not covered by the guarantee. Use an alkaline AA battery. The battery holder is located in the plinth panel below the oven door. Open the oven door fully. Press the tag on the left hand side of the battery holder/cover and withdraw it just enough to get access to the battery. Fit the new battery with the end marked "+" on the same side of the battery holder as the red lead. Replace the battery holder by pushing it firmly into the hole in the plinth.

The spark unit is usually under the hob on the left side. Check the connections as they can get really messy and even break through. Also spray the igniter posts with oven cleaner and leave for an hour, clean off with a plastic brush and water. Dry thoroughly. On the hobs, remove the burner and wash them, the underside as well as they rely on the earthing through the aluminium ring, remove and clean that too.

The largest battery that fits the battery holder
i fitted a lager battery than the original factory as they last longer than the original more starting power
I cut the battery holder under the seat so to fit larger batt

I downloaded the manual from http://www.manualsmania.com and here is the section on replacing the battery:
Use an alkaline AA battery.The battery holder is located in the plinth panel below the oven door.Open the oven door fully. Depending on the battery holder, you can use AA, AAA, lithium.
If you have lithium battery holder, buy AAA battery holder or AA battery holder from eBay.

The battery pack for your scanner, Radio Shack item 23-288, is out of production and I could not any source that still carries it. You can, however, power the scanner using six size AA batteries. The black battery holder that came with the scanner is for standard, non-rechargeable, alkaline batteries. The yellow battery holder is for rechargeable NiCd or NiMH batteries. If you don't have the AA holders you should still be able to pick them up from Radio Shack.

Olympus digital camera E 20 my camera has 5.0 megapixels. I was photographing horizontally and then vertically and as I shifted my hands I pressed a button somewhere on the left hand side of the camera and the screen went totally black. I have an Olympus E-20p. Recently, when powering I have an Olympus E-20p. Recently, when powering on with the dial set to program mode, I hear a clicking sound that changes tones (two distinct patterns of clicking) and then goes away. The control panel shows the following numbers in this order: 084 500 161 502 284. Sometime during this process, the red light blinks showing the CF card is being accessed, but then camera doesn't respond. I can't take any photos. If I turn the camera off and set the dial to playback mode, then turn the camera back on, the camera accesses the CF card and lets me view the contents of the card on the monitor. The control panel shows the batter indicator and the CF card indicator. As far as I know, the camera has not been dropped. Can anyone provide any information about what may be happening? Thanks!
