Question about HP Photosmart C200 Digital Camera
My problem is when I download my pics using my HP software on my XP system they go to the designated folder of course and are named pic001, pic002, etc. If I take more pictures the next day or wait to unload others till the next day and try and put them into that same folder it says "pic001 already exist do you want to replace" of course I don't as they are different pics. Is there some way other than changing every individual picture each time I have put them on my HD? I know I can set up seperate folders but that is not my preference really. Thanks.
Most digital cameras will let you choose to not reset the photo name counter to zero. That way the photo names coming off the camera will always be different. Check your Instruction Manual for such an option.

Defaults to naming a folder for the date it was created. You should be OK if you accept their default. I usually go in using thumbnail view and re-name my photos when they are downloaded. You can rename the folder before downloading. I deleted Image Zone for my HP camera due to a conflict with my HP scanner, but if I remember correctly, you right click the default location name and rename to suit you.
