I bought the silk epic abt two hrs backs. It was working fine and just today when I took it out to use it the rotating wheels are not moving. Its still making noise the way it used to before but the wheels wouldn't budge. Can u plz help me out?

motor brushes are bad. when they wear out, the motor loses torque and draws more amps. they can be replaced fairly easily once you get the motors out.

bang, on the starter with a hamer all around the casing,the brushes wear out and no longer make contact with the comutator will useually make them move as they are sping loaded, this is a temp fix and only good 4 a cple of weeks! u can change the starter 4 abt $100 bucks or pay $150+ 2 have it done! and ur gonna get a referb bad piece with a $50 buck core charge!!!rip off. what i do is buy the brushes from th auto pts store and replace them ur self abt 6 bucks abt 1 hrs work!

check ur axle or half shaft it goes from the transmission to the wheel if they break it wont go anywhere it has rubber boots on each end of yhe shaft with universals in them

I I have the same issue and i took my netbook to more than 4 electronic engineers, all of them said that doesnt seem there is a problem in my netbook though.

Check the calipers for sticking, also check the lever where the e-brake cable connects to and makes sure the lever operates smoothly. You may need an assistant to operate the e-brake.

it is flashing a code at u, this indicates the coiled rotating contact under the steering wheel has an open circuit in the airbag connection to the steering column, this contact is called the airbag clock-spring rotating contact, the steering wheel must be removed to replace it, CAUTION: The Airbag must be dis-armed before you remove it from the steering wheel, if it goes off u can be seriously injured.

Single chip DLP projectors use a spinning color wheel between the lamp and the DMD (mirror chip) to produce colors. If the wheel rotation/synchronization is disturbed, colors will not be displayed correctly.
In my case it looks like the wheel became un-synchronized, probably because the projector was dusty/dirty inside (a light senor is used to detect the wheel position), resulting in a grainy, slightly flickering image.
I simply blew out the components with a can of 'Dust-off' and, using a small tool, rotated the color wheel by hand to make sue it wasn't rubbing or jammed.
I reassembled & started the projector and the image was back to normal.
