Can't find a natural gas regulator for a BBQ Galore 4 burner slide in grill. Believe it is a SST ( or sts) Turbo model. Any suggestions on what might be a valid substitute? Grand Hall ( the parts supplier) has none in stock, no replacement alternatives and it is out of production.

To convert the fuel type for any barbecue the regulator has to be changed and all the prefaces have to be changed.
The regulator and the orifices must be purchased together or at the same time because the hole drilled in the orifice is dependent on the amount of pressure allowed into the manifod by the regulator.

More than likely you will have to replace the entire burner manifold. To purchase the part, first contact BBQ's Galore 800-752-3085, to see if they have it. The BBQ's Galore grills are the only ones that are approved to be field converted. All you need a 4 LP Gas Burner Orifices and a Hose Regulator Assembly to hook to a LP Gas grill tank. You can buy the orifices from BBQ's Galore and the Hose/Regulator Assembly from any hardware store or home improvement center that sells grills & accessories for about $30.00. Gas grill burner orifices are pretty universal, so any LP Gas ones should work.

The original BBQ's Galore went bankrupt, but was bought by new owners, who still operate it as BBQ's Galore. However, they did buy any of the older company's parts supply. However, all you need are the burner orifices for each burner (including the rear burner) and a Hose/Regulator Assembly to connect the grill to the grill tank. Follow the conversion instructions in the Owner's Manual (see link below) and you should be able to do it.

Once converted, you will see marked improvement in the heating capacity of Propane Gas, as opposed to Natural Gas. The grill will preheat faster and maintain higher temperatures longer.

You need to look at the orifices to see if the hole on it is big for Natural Gas and small for LP!
