normally in plastic holders that twist into the circuit board at the back of the panel Some manufacturers just use one bulb on the end of fibre glass fillements to light up the dash panel
You need to pop up the wood surround up. Be careful. You have to pry up the back side
(near the cup holder and slide it back. There's two pieces of plastic that the
wood slides into in the front and if you don't slide it out you'll break those
(I learned that the hard way). The piece will still fit fine
though even if they are broken and it won't be loose. Anyway. after that is out
there the plastic piece that the ect switch is in. Pop that up, there are clips
again, no slides. I believe you have to remove the switch from the plastic. No
big deal just pry it out easily. Remove the plastic screw and there's your light
bulb. I found my replacements at radioshack. They're not exactly the same size
but they work just as well. To get at the gearshift light, just reach under the
left side, find the two wires going into that area, grab the plug, twist and
pull out. Don't try prying the top panel off (the one with the Letters and
Numbers) it will break. That bulb is a tiny wedge bulb. Just pull it straight
out and do everything in reverse to put stuff back together
I belive this year still uses bulbs, remove the cluster and in the rear you will see the bulbs, note there are a few so remove the one you think it is and shine a light into the hole and you will see if thats the correct bulb by seeing what lights up, good day.
likely connection behind dash. Easy fix - remove dash, twist cannectors behind dash and put back together. All gauges will e working again. 10-15 mins tops
push and twist bulbs have little noches one on each side. if un sure ask autoparts store for bulbs for dash and you can see what they look like. and pull fuses .they sometimes look good ,but check anyway.
two clips hold the headlight in place at the top...remove these and the headlamp will move forward enabling you to replace the halogen bulb (9007 at CTC)
dash lights are bulbs, soldered into the printed circut board.
Can't be replaced. I wired an led light into the dash light circut
at the plug in at the cluster.
check the brake light switch on the pedal first, if thats ok, check the tail lights again, where the bulb holders twist into the panel on the circut board connectors normally deterioate. cheers mike.
