Oi - u gotta get, latest patches, then latest no-cd crack. the no cd keys, for appropriate versions, are on many sites - its legal if you like me bought the bloody game cos u dig warhammer and its a piece of poo.

fact is NAMCOM gave up support for this title for a long while ago.

so install, patch, then no cd patch, only trouble i've had with windows 7 has been graphics related since.

Wrong Game Disc:
This message happens when a Game Disc has been removed while the system is on, and a different Game Disc is inserted. Re-insert the original Game Disc.

No Game Disc:
This error can occur when the Game Disc has been removed while the system is on and then the Disc Cover is closed. Follow these troubleshooting steps:

Ensure the game is inserted correctly. With the power turned off on the system, replace the Game Disc in the system, printed side up. Press down gently on the Game Disc until it locks on the center hub. Close the Disc Cover and press the power button ON to see if the game comes on the screen.

Determine if this happens with more than one game by inserting a different game into the system.

WII unit will not read disk when put in. Screen says there is an error and to remove disk but gives no other directions. What may the problem be?

"Unable to read the disc" or "Disc could not be read" Messages
If you are getting one of the above error messages:
    • This message can display if you eject a disc during game play. If this is when the message displayed, make sure that you return to the Wii Menu before changing discs if you wish to play a different game.

    • If your Wii console is laying flat, it may be positioned upside down. Ensure that is positioned right-side up: the game disc slot should be above all three buttons and the SD Card slot.

    • Ensure that you are properly loading a Game Disc. insertdisccorrect.gif
      • If your console is placed vertically, the disc label will face to the right.
      • If your console is placed horizontally, the disc label will face upwards

    • Check our list of specific game issues to see if there is a known issue with that particular title.
    • If you know you are inserting the Game Disc correctly, but are still have the same problem with only one game (or if you only have one game), try cleaning the Game Disc by following the disc cleaning procedures (click here).

If the above information did not resolve the issue or it is happening with most or all of your games, a repair is necessary. Please note: So that our technicians are able to duplicate the issue, please include at least one sample game disc that causes this message to appear when played. Click here to set up a repair.

Installed game , go to play and error message pops up reading: Wrong Disk Inserted Please insert the original Gold Pack CD/DVD

Did the game come with more than once disc? You may have tried inserting the wrong disc.  If that isn't the case, you may need to download a crack for the game.
Go to this link:http://m0004.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_sw_empire_at_war.shtml
And download the file that says "Empire at War: Forces of Corruption [MULTI] No-CD/Fixed Image"
Replace the .exe file in your game directory (normally C://Program Files/"game") with the one that the crack included.
Hopefully your game will run now!

MY CONSOLE KEEPS SAYING CAN'T READ DISC

The most common reason for the games not reading discs is a bad drive. The following website sells the drives and does installs:

store.richspsxparts.com/wiiredvddr

This drive should fix any reading issues you are having with your games, or issues inserting your games or ejecting them (or lack thereof). This is the entire DVD drive assembly mechanism replacement for your game including a new laser. If your discs are not ejecting, or you cannot insert a disc -- or you can insert a disc but it will not load, this is what you need to get your game going again!

Take care.

I get a "Data Disc" message when I press record.

have you purchased the correct blank discs? sounds like you've inserted discs that can only be used on a PC. these players can only record onto blanks bearing the "compact disc digital audio" mark. these are for use on home audio recorders. hope this helps?
