you should look for the chipset. if its intel i845 chipset you may try win2k_xp141.exe for vga driver. it works for :

Here is some info for the sound, but I need more info about the motherboard to assist with the video driver. Please tell me the chipset that is on the motherboard. The 82801db points to the audio portion.

Assuming that the motherboard has the 845G Chipset, then you will have the AC '97 2.3 supported for audio and telephony codecs; up to 6 channels on board audio.

Also make sure that you have onboard audio on the board and you are not using anu other pci audio card.

The Compaq Evo D510's motherboard has a Socket 478 processor socket, and uses an Intel 845G motherboard chipset.
