If what you mean is that the water level rises too much, then what you have is a bad water level switch. You will spot it easy, for it has a hose attached to it. Sometimes they just jam and all it needs is a gentle tapping. But is likely that it will jam again
If you want to completely disconnect it, please do it in this order::
>Make sure that there is no laundry in the machine
>Turn the machine off
>Unplug it from the wall socket and secure the cord to the top of the washer with a piece of duct tape.
> Turn the water off at the faucets that supply the washing machine.
> Loosen each hose and turn it into a bucket or sink to drain it as much as possible.
>Secure it with th4e opening up with duct tape to the side or back of the washer so that you do not drain leftover water all over the floor.
>Finally do the same with your drain hose. You may have to pull the washer out from the wall to do this, but you need to pull the drain hose out of the drain, and bend it to drain to a bucket or sink.
And then secure it to the washer as above with the opening higher than the tub.
> At this point you can move the washer to an area outside or wherever you want to take it. If you are moving it outside, you can disconnect the water hoses and drain them completely and even keep them if they are still good, and you are replacing the washer. You can also remove the drain hose completely if desired.

Hi, Does the water drain while the washer is filling? If so, check the end of the drain hose and make sure it is as high as the top of the washer.
If this is not your problem, Please let me know to clarify what is happening.
Hi, It sounds like the drain hose has dropped lower then the water level in the washer. Check and see if the hose end is as high as the top of the washer.
I hope this helps you.
