I wass reading on the Fuji site about the S5200: "With the addition of beam assist, the S5200 will be able to focus up to 7.9 feet, even in low light conditions." Too me, this sounds unimpressive. Am I missing something? I read this as "anything further than 8 feet is going to be blury..." Should this be 7.9 meters? Or is it 7.9 feet in low light, but with decent light, it will perform much better?
I assume you're taking the mickey out of Fuji here. But just in case you're not it is obviously meant to describe the AF assist lamps range in low light conditions.
