As far as I can see from the manual the e100 series player only supports up to 2 GB memory SD cards, see page 8 (=7) of the manual:

Formatting the SD card of 2 GB should be in FAT format, see:

if the cards work ok on something else then there's a issue within camera it could be the actual sd connector within the camera ? doess the camera support that size ?
