What's your problem?toshiba satellite l555 s7916 wil not boot

Try Resetting the CMOS on your Motherboard.
Turn off the Laptop and unplug it
Remove the battery
undo the RAM cover
Remove the RAM
plug the laptop into the power
Turn the PC on and listen for some beeping noises
If you hear the beeping noises turn the laptop back off
Unplug the charger
Replace the RAM into the RAM slots
Replace the the battery
Plug in the laptop and power it up.

if you get video output, that's Great, if not, it's possible that you have a faulty screen

Monitor went black

Hi there,

This is a very common problem,

Most monitors go due to the connection, for example when you open and close the lid this loosens the connection so this is your problem.

You may be able to find and download the service manual on google, and take it step by step from there or take it in for a service.

hope this helps

Hi, is possible that on having hibernated your equipment has blocked himself, tries removing the external battery and it connecting only to the AC Adapter, try turn on, as soon as the equipment completes the load of the operating system, turn off and place again the external battery, must work

Laptop

Hi, according to what I understand his equipment it operates well, only that the screen appears in black, does not show anything on the screen, though the equipment operates well, it is possible that the fault this one in the FL Inverter, that is the inverter of current of the screen, which gives the take-off of the lamp of back light, the same one is in the low part of the screen behind of wave mask of the screen

I am working on one right now with a similiar problem. The power supply is bad in the one I am working on, and sadly, the part is not made anymore. I hope you have better luck than I am finding the bad component in yours. Sorry for the negitive answer.

Try taking the battery out and use only the AC. If everything turned out fine, it could be a problem on the battery or on the port.
