I have a Sanyo Xacti VCP-CA8EX, first the sound recording was intermittant.and then went all together.Then it would not stay on standby when the monitor was closed, and would not switch back on. After removing the battery and re fitting it, it switched back on. Now it will not switch on at all.

Just kidding. What kind of stReaky images is it recording? Is the problem that you are using it in bad light (eg indoors at night)? It could just be camera shake.

Make sure that your camera is in auto mode and try again - if it was in a slow shutter speed mode, then this could be more of a problem. Also try using flash, if you camera has one.

Try Formatting the card in the camera, and check if there are any settings for record time also.
