Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds this will turn the system completely off wait 5 seconds then turn it back on as soon as it boots up go into power options in the control panel and click the option from power saver mode to do nothing as there is a fault with some computers that it gets stuck in power saver mode

1. remove the battery and try AC only
2. Is the AC power supply warm?
3. Is the power light on but the computer is unresponsive?

1. Battery may have a short stopping the laptop from booting, replace the battery.
2. The AC power supply may be defective or the connector on the laptop is broken, replace the power supply/take the laptop to a shop.
3. The laptop may be in Sleep/Hibernate mode, press and hold the power button for up to a minute.
If nothing happens/is fixed at this point, Warranty/replace/take it to a shop

My laptop was plugged in and lit up showing it was charging but when I pressed power button nothing happened. I unplugged from charger and no lights at all and pressed button and nothing happened. Is

plug where Check for loose power where power cord connects.
A computer repair shop can replace the power on/off button and he power plug input jack if required. Make sure the laptop power charger has the correct voltage for the computer if it is universal power supply/charger.

not to sure how that can be fix for its very important to have the updates done for it updates the system and it is required to let the process finish. Take your computer to a shop and they will be able to help u but do not ask how much it would cost. :)

Dropped my camera and now the lens won't retract back in. When I press on the screen says lens error M425-12 (7f80). Can this be fixed and should I take it to a camera repair shop? Thanks

It could be one of two things, you bend the lens when dropped or the pins in the lens has become loose and are stuck.
You can try:
Taking the battery out for about 5 minutes and putting it back in to reset the camera. Also you can try hold the power button down and the ok or select button to to reset it. Also can hold the power and the menu button to try and force the lens out to dislodge the pins. If not,

The funny the is that I would have you drop it again on a carpet but on the opposite side to see if you can dislodge the pins from being stuck, try and have it land flat on its back from a decent height.
If the lens in bent you will have to bring it to a repair shop to have it fixed but it usually costs as much as a new camera.

Dell Monitor is stuck in power save mode. tried

Hmmm...Stuck in power save. I guess when you push the power button, the monitor says power save, then blanks to power save, no matter if the Computer is on or not.
This means the monitor does not see any signal from the computer. I would suspect the computer first. Try a different monitor (borrow one).
If the size of the monitor picture is too high and the monitor is an older LCD, you may have set the image size too high (1280x1024 will not work with this monitor and it will do this very thing).
A broken or damaged connector cable to the monitor can also cause this. Was the monitor unplugged from the computer just before this problem?

Broken power button on HP pavilion desktop

ok check this out, follow the two wires that come off the power switch to the motherboard, just take a flat head screwdriver and touch those two pins together and your pc will boot up. and to fix this all you have to do is go to your local pc shop (not some place like bestbuy) and ask them for an atx power switch, its an easy fix, if it doesnt fit exactly there is always hot glue.
