My cursor froze and it wont't move

Try to force your machine to power down (off) by pressing and holding the power button for several seconds (up to 10). If no success, disconnect any AC power and remove the battery. {It can not run without a source of power.} After it has powered down, do what is necessary to restart it. The problem should be gone for the moment. If you had to remove the battery to get the machine to turn off, go into your operating system options and configure the power button to "shut down" a running machine when it is pressed and held down.

My netbook display is blank when powered on.

You may try this; Turn OFF the laptop, remove the power sources (ac adapter and battery). Without power sources, hold power button 10 secs. Put back the power sources, and power ON the NB. If the laptop will not boot by doing this, take it to the nearest repair center to have it check for possible motherboard issue.

My laptop wont start up... There is power going to the machine but it wont boot up... Model is: Toshiba Compaq -#cq60-410sa? Can you help?

Hello,

One of the possibilities, that the NB does not power ON is due to improper turning off of the laptop or if it was left idle and was not shutdown and just left connected to the ac adapter. Here is one of the simple troubleshooting step you may try. Turn OFF the laptop, remove the power sources (ac adapter and battery). Without power sources, hold power button 10 secs. Put back the power sources, and power ON the NB. If the laptop will not boot by doing this, take it to the nearest repair center to have it check for possible motherboard issue.

Hope this works.

NOTE BOOK SCREEN DOES NOT COME ON

Hello,

Screen does not come ON or not showing any display even the power LED is lit. Sometimes it is due to the laptop was not shutdown properly or the battery was drained or laptop was left idle. This is a simple solution that may fix the problem. If the power LED is lit, turn off the NB, remove all the power sources (battery and charger). Without the power sources, hold the power button for 10 secs and put the power sources back and turn ON the laptop. If this doesn't resolve the problem, it needs to be checked for possible Motherboard problem.

Hope it works!

Can't make calls with the handset, is in speaker all the time

Remove batteries and unplug power source.  Wait a few second before replacing batteries and power source.  This forces the phone to "forget" why it froze, but retains your programmed numbers.
