My son dropped his dsi xl in the loo and he tried pushing the power button to turn it off. I've blower dried it. I haven't be able to take it apart to dry out, but now I have it in a bag with rice....

First you want to keep it plugged in and start it. If it doesn't start, let it charge and try again. If it still doesn't start you might want to call and check if you have warranty over it, and then send it back to get it replaced. That or get a new one all together.

My laptop won't turn on, and the charger doesn't seem to be doing anything. even when plugged in, it won't start. ideas?

You've to replace the ac adapter, if it's brick doesn't get warm or LED does not glow on Power Jack on the laptop. offcourse, check with the wall different sockets

power jack can also be loose. so jiggle the cable to find out.

if notebook is getting power, you can remove the battery, ac adapter, hold and keeep pressing poer button for a minute, then, turn it on.

finally, you can take out hdd and ram, put them back again and turn on the laptop. hope it will help

Unplug the power cable; remove the battery then hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Reinstall the battery; plug the power back in and hold down the power button for 30 to 60 seconds and see if it starts.

When I turn on my set, light turns green, then after 30 seconds turns red won't come on

Sounds like there is a problem with the power supply. Try unplugging the T.V. and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Plug the T.V. back in and see if that helps. If it doesn't try switching to another outlet, and if that doesn't work then you may need to replace the power supply which would probably cost anywhere from 140 to 200 for one.

Unplug the set and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Plug it back in and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't then it sounds like there is a problem on the board underneath the power button. Something isn't allowing the circuit to be cut.
