Hi, it's most likely pausing in wash cycle because it is not heating, most
d/w timers will loose power to the timer motor until the wash tub has
reached a desired temperature, if its not heating the water it will not
advance, although it still could be the timer it self but most likely a
faulty heater element or thermostat, does the timer advance at all?
If so where timer dial pauses (gets stuck) open door and check water
temp (just feel) and close door give it 10Min's or a bit more and water
should get alot hotter (anywhere from 45°c to 75°c) note if it is hot
fill water may be hot but not hot enough to trigger temp thermostat to
activate timer, if your handy and can see its not heating try to check
the Resistance of thermos and heater
