I have a Lenovo 300 N200 (0769) Recently it has become very slow even though everything seems fine. I tried running defragmentation but on a check it said defrag not needed as there's a lot of empty space (C drive is just half full, while E and F have more than three-fourths empty). Please suggest a suitable solution

The slow reason may be one or more problems acting together. The problem nowadays is that it is very difficult and time consuming to monitor and take care of your Lenovo PC. Even experienced users find it hard to perform such tasks on regular basis because you might need to prepare a huge amount of time and energy to deal with each issue separately.

If you want to fix the problems more efficiently, try the Lenovo speed up program, available here.

My System configuration is i3 with 4GB ram. and there is only 3 softwares(ms-office,adobe reader, one medicines related software). My system became slow.

Try increasing the virtual memory setting in the windows operating system. Also see if there is a defragmentation tool on the windows operating system. I am assuming it is a windows operating system.
You may have a virus that might slow down or spyware slowing down p,c May need to run an anti spyware or anti virus program to check for these.

Lenovo Touch pad Stopped working

If you're positive you didn't unplug or rip anything while installing new USB ports, trying checking/updating or rolling back the drivers for the touch pad. Installing new USB ports could have mis-configured something and disabled or modified your drivers for the touch pad.

My N100 notebook is very slow in process

if it is a windows computer, try running defragmenter and disk cleanup.
to run defragmenter, in the search box in the start menu (in vista and windows 7) and search "defragmenter" select the c drive, and defragment it.. while you're at it, set up a weekly defragment with the defragmenter schedule.
To run disk cleanup, search for "disk cleanup" in the same search box. select the c drive, and check all the things you want to clean up.
you can always just do a scan with your antivirus to check if theres a virus slowing your system down.

Lenovo T61 running slow - 3 years old..

There are so many reasons can cause your Lenovo T61 computer running slow than it used to, it is hard to identify just what might be dragging down your Lenovo's performance, let alone implement the necessary technical adjustments to fix it.

So if you want to address the issues more easily, I'll recommend you try a Lenovo speed up software, available here: http://www.speeduplenovo.com/

Over 10+ small utilities packed into one to help detect & fix all slowdowns in 1 click.

Please help! I am a bit of a perfectionist so when my zoo becomes quite full I find it annoying when everything moves with jerky movements and not at a smooth speed, sorry don't know how else to describe...

I usually never have that problem except if there are things installing or antivirus is running. This means it is because your computer needs to load too much details (because of the visitors and everything that is built). There is not too much you can do, except a few things that might make it slightly better.

A regular thing is defragmentating your computer, this will make your computer run programs faster. Mind that you can first uninstall all files on your computer that are useless, that you don't need. I am not sure about the version of your windows computer, but usually it's "Start" > "Control Panel" > "System Management" > "Defragmentate your hard drive" , then there should be a button "defragmentate now".

Slow moving screen is usually a cause of a slow computer, or a computer that has gotten slow. It is the common thing called "lag" on online games. So the only thing you can do is closing as much programs as possible that you don't need (try ctrl+alt+del, process tab and end what you don't need) for example msn or any antivirus.

There isn't a lot more you can do, maybe uninstalling, but I personally don't think it will have any effect. Try another computer maybe and see what it gives.

Laptop has become very slow, even though there is still free memory and i ran the defragmenter.

there is possibly a heavy app running in the background, for example virus and malware scans, if you are running vista then you will have to expect this

RAM Upgrade

See there are limitations to Motherboard to support the amount of RAM. You must check out the motherboard manul to see how much maximum RAM you can have. The second issue as you think the speed will be increased, you are right but only if your softawre uses more memory than you have in RAM, because in this case OS swap the data from RAM to disk and it makes performance slow.

After all you can slightly increase the speed.

Thanks

It's going REALLY slow

If everything is working well on the PC and the Dragon software is newly having a problem I would try uninstalling it from Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs and then reinstalling. Very odd that one piece of software would cause the PC to act slower. Does it use a lot of disk space? Maybe try a Disk Cleanup and Defragmenter (All Programs, Accessories, System Tools).
